Bungie keeps saying that they want us to earn everything but then add in RNG so there is no real way to earn it, For example i have a friend that has been playing since the Beta and still cant get the one exotic he needs to complete his collection ( Gjallarhorn ) even though he does all the nightfall's, Crota's end raids, and Vault of glass raids but still he can't trade for it even though he does all of this. RNG does not allow you to earn anything only get lucky . Many people are quitting or contemplating quitting Destiny due to these reasons and out right frustration and boredom from endless grinding.
