Impossible
I am a level 13 Hunter almost level 14 and I tried to beat the last level on the moon but the very last guy in the respawn restricted area killed me in one shot. I don't have xbox live so I can't beat it with a fireteam. PLEASE HELP!!

I managed to beat the entire story and strikes without a fireteam on two characters. This was before matchmaking for strikes. It is entirely possible. Especially if you are level 14. Aren't the moon story missions lower level than that? Or are you talking about TDB moon missions? I can't imagine you are a 14 and to TDB yet.
