While blasting through the cosmos to my next destination, I ponder what build-out to play. Upon seeing that I am heading to the Rusted Lands, my play style is different than if I were running around Exodus Blue. So, I decide to change from a defender Titan to a striker Titan. The only issue with doing this between the time you see the map you are landing on and before the match starts, you lose your grenades - if you make the switch between classes that is. And, since I wear an Armamentarium, this double sucks; I start a match with no grenades.
I believe this happens most every time, but I want to test more to consistently recreate the trouble and figure out the timing. This issue became apparent as I went charging in to through my two boom sticks right away, just to get two fistfuls of air and a face full of buckshot.
Has anyone else noticed this? Is it just me? Sometimes it is... ...
Thanks Bungie! By the way, I may disappear for a little bit; my firstborn son is due in 10 days. That's my true destiny.

You can't switch classes at all and keep grenades during that screen. Would be nice If bungie would implement "what's next screen" during the lobby.

I wouldn't say it's broken. Super, grenades, and melee energy all reset upon character subclass switches. That load screen of flying down to planet is when they are creating your character in game, I would imagine the class and subclass are some of the first things loaded. I too switch subclasses based on map strategy, usually after my first die or after my first super then death.
