I have noticed on several occasions you have made an effort to show that you (Bungie) have been interested in this idea as it came about in the first few weeks Destiny was alive. Players have enjoyed this idea in hopes that you all may one day implement such a game mode in the plethora of options to choose from in you mmo. Hear me out for a second. So take the sparrow and dumb it down. Outside of its rarity and raid selection and upcoming dlc, there is very little ways of "customizing" your beloved vehicle. Now let's say you make this game mode, as your interest in a recent MOTW post, and instead of rewarding players and racers an unnecessary blue weapon engram why not dish out some custom skins, parts, and upgrades for your sparrow? You can keep the raid sparrows in game and what not but make them sparrow specific and illegal for use in this playlist. But you can use your well earned rare sparrow that you have upgraded into a legend of speed with your 25 strange coins. The parts and skins you give use to upgrade your sparrow into a far better racing machine, adding balance to the game by limiting the amount you can on. Also add other abilities and perks to override the left and right buttons and trigger button via parts/upgrades. Add handling and weight to the sparrow, along with being able to adjust acceleration, speed and durability. Make this game a memorable experience and fun for all gamers.
