All my friends and I are getting baboon over and over again. ..way too often
-
Not saying that this is the solution for everyone but the problem for me was on my end. I had recently changed my plan with my ISP and with it came a new cable modem / router (Hitron CGN3AC). After having Baboon errors regularly I did some research and found out that this particular piece of hardware is less than stellar. In fact, it doesn't like working as a router at all. I tested this by moving my PS4 down beside the hardware...BAM...Baboon. I hardwired the PS4 into the device...BAM...Baboon. At least I don't play League of Legends as there are issues there where you can't connect at all. I ended up putting the device into bridge mode and have it function solely as a cable modem...No more Baboons. Went out, picked up another router that can service the entire house and I have been running wireless on my PS4 without issue ever since. Hope this helps someone else sort out their issue.

I'm constantly getting this -blam!- in the -blam!-ing raid...
-
Whenever I get "baboon", which isn't often, it's usually sometbing on my end that causes it.
-
Baboon code has been happening to me with ridiculous frequency the last 2 days, didn't have any problems until yesterday
-
This happened to me way back, near the other big update, took a few days but went away. 95% of the time it's not your connection. I just waited it out. You can upgrade your router but I mean, few hundred dollars or just 3 days without destiny?

I have a xbox one. Im hard wired. Damn fine internet. Ive only experinced lag.
-
It was fine earlier today, but a few hours ago I started getting booted every few moments. I tried to do the daily heroic, but alas as soon as I start the mission, I'm sent back into orbit. I think their servers are being overloaded or something. I guess tons of people are jumping into Iron Banner now that it's almost over.

Waiting for the bungie standard response..."its you and not us...here are the networking guides that we send out for every complaint instead of offering real tech support" Im at the point that I am only able to play for 10 mins at a time....maybe now that IB is done it might get better but doubt it.

Same issues here. I took a couple of months off from Destiny and then came back to a bunch of Baboon errors; hadn't seen any before Friday night. I have 2 wireless routers in the house providing 2 different SSIDs. The router on the main floor beside the cable modem doesn't like connecting devices in the office on the second floor. I've tried playing on both routers and I get Baboon errors. Tried running packet loss tests on my laptop using both SSIDs and getting 0% packet loss on my end. I'm able to stream video or play other online games with no noticeable problems. Next attempt is to hard wire into the network to see if that changes anything. If it does, then I need to permanently move my PS4 as I have very little interest cutting that many holes in drywall to wire in a network jack in the office.
