POLL: Which New Hunter Exotic will Provide the Best Advantage? Guardians, the House of Wolves Destiny Expansion II is almost upon us. In it's wake come several new armor pieces for us to seek out, acquire, and subsequently ponder over. I'm very much looking forward to getting my hands on some fresh gear, many of us have maxed and extensively tested all of the Hunter exotics, and are particularly excited about the new additions and what they can bring to the table for us knife-wielding thoroughbreds of the Frontier. Exotac Angel Hunter [Helmet] Special Perk ' Angel Hunter ' - Increased Weapon Accuracy after Jumping Ikaheka's Hooks [Gauntlets] Special Perk ' Touch of Venom ' - Melee Attacking an Enemy whilst Invisible Poisons Target [DoT] Unremarkable Bones [Boots] Special Perk ' Not Bound by Law ' - Upgrades Double Jump with an Additional Jump So there's three new exotics for us to mull over, at first glance there's nothing that really stands out as potentially game-changing for our class. Indeed, many will find them to be entirely underwhelming. However, they are all interesting in their own way and dare I say it? Potentially fun to use. The Exotic that catches my eye in particular are Ikaheka's Hooks. I wonder if I could combine them with the already lethal 'Backstab' perk on the Bladedancer in the Crucible which very nearly kills an enemy in one strike [full-shields] as it is. Add the new gauntlets into the equation and could we be looking at a one-hit-bleedout-kill under the right circumstances? I think this might be the case, but I do not claim to know with any degree of certainty. Now you Destiny jump enthusiasts out there listen up, what about the Unremarkable Bones? Hunter's are well known for the swiftness in which they bounce and hop themselves through the air, however we've never really been about the height. Usually falling short of the Titans for example with the overall vertical lift they can achieve. No more, these boots will make us the fastest and loftiest class in Destiny assuming they actually function as we hope they do. How will the perk on these things affect the Hunter jump exactly? For example will the additional leap stack with the 'Higher Jump' provide an additional 'Higher Jump'? That would be the ideal scenario, but the facts remain to be seen. Now, I perceive the Exotac Angel Hunter helmet as the ugly duckling of the trio. I could be totally wrong and it ends up being quite special, and indeed I hope that's the case but 'increased weapon accuracy after jumping' isn't something that's got me all that excited to be honest. I'm not even that sure what accuracy directly corresponds to in Destiny, but hopefully with this exotic taking effect you can really feel a dramatic tightening of the bullet spread with certain weapons enabling the user to be laser-accurate with auto-rifles to name one weapon archetype. Although reduced shotgun spread does sound potentially quite appealing for you blink-shotty fiends out there if that's the case with this helmet. Let me know your thoughts guys, interesting times ahead. - Zeph.

 • Hell, lets talk all Exotics. Angel Hunter (I'm always calling it that)- If you like jumping, this is really good. Jumping works as great evasion, and the accuracy improvement is a plus. If you like your feet firmly on the ground, then this isn't for you, but I love it. Unremarkable Bones- See above. Hunter jump is now best jump. Ikaheka's Hooks- These are the ones I'm unsure about. Unless its a really strong DoT, I don't see these being good. Especially if you already have to be invisible for it to trigger (IE, hit someone with Blink Strike and Escape Artist, it still won't trigger). The Ram- Looks cool. Overrated. Watered down Saint-14 that requires you to die first. Purifier Robes- Face it: How many times has the DoT and not the grenade itself killed an enemy? If it still triggers the explosion off the grenade kill, and that explosion ignites further enemies, these could be awesome. Nothing Manacles- "We learned how to Force Barrier from Titans. But don't tell them that." Love these. Not much else to say about that (unless its a really short shield. Like, 3-5 seconds) ACD/0 Feedback Fence- My problem with Don't Touch Me is that it requires putting yourself in a risky situation for them to be effective. I've never escaped a 32 Sword Knight while invisible, but I've been instagibbed by them many, many times. The damage output from these better be huge, but knowing Crucible, it won't be. You'll probably be lucky to kill a single Thrall with them. Eternal Warrior- This one's okay, I guess. Frees you up to use Shoulder Charge in Crucible, ought to come in handy there. PvE, I don't see this being better than Inmost Light. Peregrine Greaves- Oh boy. These. Bungie, you had better make this a MASSIVE increase. Shoulder Charge is OHK in Crucible, so there is no excuse to not be instagibbing 34 Reaver Captains with these equipped.
