I'm not the most hardcore gamer in the world, or even in my house, but I love playing this game in the little free time I have. However, the fun of playing is sucked away when some kid constantly ruins a raid, or you have kids eating, squeaking, or humming down their mic.
So I'm interested in how much of a minority I sit in. Are you under 20, 20-30, 30-40, or over 40?
Fully expecting troll rants, but might be interesting to know if there are more adults (20+)than kids.

Ancient and definitely over 40. But who doesn't love playing games?

I'm of legal drinking age since January, but I found alcohol to taste horrible.

Miss cammcam tagged me in Facebook with this thread, so I assume she wanted me to post that I'm old, not as old as the legendary recon, but still old enough to tell you these forums will always suck with out the old ground. -blam!- you all

I'm 14. The reason "adult" gamers dislike children is their pure immaturity, this is not everyone. Stand up to the elders guardians!

46 this year :)

Yeah! Oh, you said 40? Then never mind....

I'm 2

Edited by Minuteman: 5/3/2015 7:23:12 PMI'm in my mid 40s. I think a lot of people our age are self conscious about still enjoying what has traditionally been a pastime 'for kids.' That's why it bothers us to hear kids voices in chat. That and the fact that they sound like fingernails on a chalkboard, or maybe the high pitched whine of a dentist's drill.

I'm 46 have been gaming since zx81 and like the other poster used to type games in from a magazine. Progressed thru spectrum, amstrad, ps1, then hung on for Xbox where eventually ran with a few chaps and formed assassinsX a good mix of 40, 30 and twenty somethings. We've been thru marriages and births and raising families and all understand that family time is key so we try to organise around that. Games are not the preserve of the young and for the teenage trolls on this thread it takes me 30 mins work to afford a game how many days in McDonalds does it take, or do you borrow off your 40+ year old father or mother?

Mid-20s. D:

Edited by Hengest73: 6/15/2015 10:24:56 AM42 in August. I don't think it's an age thing. Because I can't think of there being any point during my life, when shouting, screaming, humming or eating down a mic, or playing crap music in the background, would not have pissed me off. I don't think it's a generation thing either, because even though I have encountered this, most the gamers I have encountered on Destiny have seemed to be good people.

You seem to be basing maturity on age good sir. This is only a half truth.
