Seriously, if you need only 32's to complete VOG on hard you should honestly re-think playing this game, because you don't deserve to.

Totally the gear that drops are meant for the raid so why would you want a toon in your team that has perks like faster with sword or fast reload when over soul etc.

Short story. I usually ask for 30+ then say I'll carry 2 that are under 30. So, atheon hard cp, I found a person that was a 30 titan. We were playing and the 32 elitist that we were playing with decided that even though we were full he wanted to try and get his butt buddy in. So he told me (fireteam leader) to kick the 30 we had that I got off a fireteam app. He had no mic but was a very good player and knew exactly what to do. And the 32 db wouldn't stop complaining about having a 30 on the team. He kept trying to get me to kick the guy and was being a whiny baby. So, 32 db got kicked right before atheon dropped. His argument for me to let his friend join in was " 32s do more damage and take less in vog"

I've never asked for any prerequisites when looking for a raid team. With that being said, who are you to judge those who do? If they ask for 32s in VoG, then why does that concern you? There are numerous other teams that don't ask for that. They obviously want a specific player to raid with. And you are sour because you don't meet that? Childish don't you think? Rationally speaking, a 32 would be more experienced than a 31 or 30. That's not always the case but again, rationally. So I can see the rational behind asking for all 32s. In my experiences, 32s did infact know what they were doing more than a 31 or 30. I personally don't think all 32s are necessary for the vault but again, who are we to judge?

Because I'd rather do the Vault in half an hour to an hour rather than spending 2 hours on it without getting past confluxes. If I ask for 32's, it's much more likely I'll get people who know what they should do and don't die within the first seconds. [spoiler] Seriously, I've had groups that didn't have any idea what to do and no matter how hard I kept telling them that they have to shoot at templar when I take its shields off with the relic, they were just screwing around not doing anything useful. 4 guys were keen on devoting their time to kill harpies (omfg) and there was one guy just running around hunting for oracles. How the hell am I supposed to complete the VoG if that group couldn't get fourth of Templar's health before enrage. Holy hell! It was a god damn miracle we made it past confluxes with me holding left side alone and 4 holding right side (3 of them died). And that was when I decided I will then on only take 30 or over for normal and 31 or over for hard.[/spoiler]

Edited by LiL Ray: 5/3/2015 5:12:21 PMAnyone/any group that asks for 32's only for VOG should be avoided like the plague; if you join these groups then all your in for is a bunch of try hards that don't know how the game works or what they're doing. I'd personally rather have a lvl 30 with vog armor in my fireteam. Lvl cap for the VOG is 30, therefore you don't have any advantage running as a 32; eg: it still takes 2 melee hits to kill a lvl 4 vandal on the earth patrol as a lvl 32 not to mention, that same lvl 4 can still kill you just as fast at 32 or 30. Atheon himself is overpowered just like Crota however, so overpowered weapons are to your advantage. If you want an easy run in VOG, the only requirements should be: 1. LVL 29+ (30+ is preferable for time) 2. Raid (vog) experience 3. Maxxed weapons (preferably with Oracle disruptor) Personally I drop down to 31 to wear some of my VOG armor and run a 300 damage main (fatebringer or VOC) to run the vault. If I was ever kicked from a group from doing so, I'd just laugh and help some 29's through.

I agree, though it's a bit biased. I am a month in on Destiny (inb4 noob), and I am at the point on all of my characters where it is time to do raids. My lvl 30 Titan got kicked from a vog hard raid which idk why but I'm guessing becuz I wasn't a lvl 32. I mean it's honestly dumb considering the fact that only lvl 30s could raid and beat vog hm before the dark below. It also doesn't help me get raid gear either

2 RepliesHaha, the title of your post made me laugh. I have to agree with you though. The only thing that does matter are the weapons people use. I'm ok with lvl 30's, but I'll not let people in with weapons that are hardly upgraded.

9 RepliesYes And No I agree, because you do the same gamage as a 30 when your a 32, But You take more damage, thus increasing your survival rate. Note: Max weapons are more important.
