Guardians-
I've been looking to shake up my gaming recently. For the most part, I'm looking for suggestions for XB1 games, though 360 isn't out of the question. On my shelf now (to give you an idea of what I usually play): Borderlands 1/2/PreSeq, all things Halo, Forza 5/Horizon, Battlefield 4, GTA V, Assassin's Creed Brotherhood.
DRIVING As far as driving games, I'm looking at either Forza Horizon 2 (played the first one) or The Crew. I don't have the greatest luck finding gaming partners. Do either of those games have good solo mechanics/experiences? I have Forza 5, so track-style games are not in my scope ATM.
SHOOTING For shooters, I have Destiny (duh) and Halo: MCC. It's been kind've buggy, and (again) not much luck finding others to game with, which is what made Halo so great to me. I haven't been a fan of the COD series since the original Modern Warfare (COD 4). Have you had any outstanding experiences with shooters?
RPG I'm a massive Fallout fan. Unfortunately I was about 2 days away from finishing New Vegas when my 360/game/hard drive were stolen. There was a lot of time invested in that series (including Fallout 3), and it was heartbreaking to lose my progress, especially after completing the Dead Money DLC (including all achieveables, all the chips, all the gold bars, etc). I bought the Oblivion GOTY and popped it in my shiny new 360 on my last deployment. Maybe I just was doing everything wrong, but that game was more slow-starting than Fallout. Are there any suggestions for RPGs (usually Western-style) that might hold my interest long enough to get into it?
I realize I'm asking a lot of some people. Sometimes they just try and go too deep to throw out some answers. Take your favorite three games, throw them on the board, and why you think they're so great. If I've played them, I'll say so. If I haven't, I may ask for some clarification before making a decision. And lastly, if I don't want to play it, I'll thank you and ask for some alternates.

Horizon 2 and Diablo 3 have great solo modes. The Orange Box is the best 360 game IMO, but I would play Half Life 1 on PC or PS2 first

Diablo 3

Horizon 2 is really good. If you have not played Metro Redux you may be missing some of the most immersive stories ever.

Project cars releases may 7th, the witcher 3 may 19th. I would wait, see how them games turn out.

Plants Vs Zombies: Garden Warfare- A great, surprisingly fun and addicting third person shooter, 8 classes each with their own unique variants, hundreds of customization options and enough unique game-modes to keep you occupied. Was my personal 2014 GOTY.
