Do you get 40 kill games?
I run into some guys that manage 40 kill games in crucible. My high is 26. So my question is, what's your loadout? Armor, gun and what general general tactics do you use? etc... I wanna get better for Trials coming up.
Edit: Also what stats do you focus on for your armor loadouts and how does that translate into your play style?

My highest is 36-8 I think. But over 40 sounds crazy. I imagine that'll be someone with a heavy capping B on Anomaly with randoms just rushing it, not rethinking their strategy. Best way to farm PvP kills..

Once for me. 41 kill game using Hawkmoon, Found Verdict and Jolders.

1 ReplyGetting 40 kills means nothing if you lose. The natural amount of kills I see a player with if we or the other team wins is around 20+ and at least two people have this much this leaves room for you and your teammates to play the objective if it is an objective game type. If it is not an objective game type than 40+ kills is still overboard the point is to out score the enemy not out kill so killing in many different ways will prove more effective than gunning down multiple foes most of the time 😉

I managed a 40 and a 41 during the last IB. Loadout was something like TLW/Spear/Praydeths/Jolders.

40 in a single life? That's hard if only cause I get reckless. 40 in a match? Easy if I use the weapons I'm best with.

Wow. Some of you players are truly amazing. I can't even imagine 26 let alone 50.

36 is my max. I run a hunter gunslinger. I run max armor and agility. Combustion and penetration. I use the IB set armor lets me throw my knife faster. I try to use my trip mines as more of a sensor type grenade to let me know of enemies coming from behind. I noally run a hand canon. No thorn unless the entire other team is running theirs. No TLW either. Usually Venation III or timurs lash. Sometimes fatebringer. Shot gun for cqc and hmg. Usually deviant gravity.

1 Reply37 is my high but I can get over 30 periodically. Run with red death, vanguard vendor secret handshake, jolders hammer/Truth (depending on the my mood). Intellect is by far most important and then discipline. To run truth and red death, all you need to do is get to the heavy early make sure the area is clear and then switch out your exotic primary for an exotic heavy that way you get the best of both worlds. If you choose LMG, play extremely cautious for the first 30s after a heavy ammo drop because there will be rockets and supers all over the place. If you survive that with your LMG you will rinse through people as long as you aren't being overly aggressive. I've had games where I run out of heavy just in time for the next heavy to drop (my jolders hammer gives me close to 70 bullets and at 3-5 shots per kill... Well you get the picture).
