Supers disabled in Trials of Osiris
With the already OP golden gun that can take out an entire 3 man Trials of Osiris team, or the throwable fist of havoc that Warlocks have. Titans will be impossible to use in Trials of osiris. Can't forget about the pocket snipers, Thorn and HawkMoon! Or the pocket OP scout rifle, The Last Noob. How can I be MLG swag with things like this in the game? In CoD there is nothing like this, everything is balanced. I want the Thorn, Hawkmoon, and Last Word nerfed by the time HoW drops. I can't even quikscope with my DSR 5001 anymore because these OP pocket snipers always take me out at scout rifle range. Should I just start hard scoping again, or just switch to my Felwinter's Lie or another auto rifle? Wait, I can't because The Last Word always melts me at close and long range. Sometimes I can quikscope them, but it always takes a head shot to kill for some reason. In CoD, you can shoot someone anywhere and they will still die.

1 ReplyFirstly, CoD's TTK (time to kill) is extremely low, meaning that it takes almost no time to get a kill. Headshots are dandy but anything will get the job done. They do this so that anyone can get a kill without actually practicing, or investing in their character. Destiny has a few "sure kills", like most of the supers, but in a one-on-one gunfight (which you don't really even experience in CoD TTK) if you hit heads, you're going to win. Keep an eye on your radar, get into the mind of what the other guy is gonna do, make sure you're waiting for him when he comes around the corner, and level your weapon at his head. Not sure that I ever lose a trade when I get the first shot to the head. Also, I've used Thorn, LW, and Hawkmoon in Crucible, and each has its counters and checks. My advice would be to stop standardizing the idea of "PVP" by comparing everything to cookie-cutter, formula-based, triple-A whorring and learn the game you're playing. Hope I see you in Trials. I'll be the Gunslinger with Thorn.

Just because you played CoD, don't expect every multiplayer to base itself off of it. Destiny will not ban any weapons from multiplayer ( they addressed the Fonal Round issue for snipers, albeit too late ) and they may end up nerfing hand cannons a little more again. Don't whine. Its unbecoming of a Guardian. Get back out there and fight.

Not going to happen. They won't disable a part of a characters combat abilities. This game is designed to use them, there are plenty of shooters that don't have them if you want more balanced gameplay.

No Supers? I didn't see that in the live stream. Someone went Bladedancer and a Titan Fist of Havoc wrecked him. I'm pretty sure supers are still active.

Matches go to quickly, a good team can probably win 9 in a row in 30 mins

You won't be getting your supers that much anyways. Either way, depending on your team, you can easily avoid any super.
