am i the only one who understands what bad business is? i've looked into news about bungie giving the 3 dark below PVP maps to non dlc owners for free and it got me thinking is their anything else that non DLC owners are getting? and if so does it make my purchase of DLC negligible? well i've looked into it and with people getting maps for free in PVP along with a few other things i've noticed this destroys the rules that are already in play. here are the rules [u][b]content owners get[/b][/u] - new light level and attack value - new exotics only they can purchase - new strikes only they can play - new PVP maps only they can enter and iron banner with optional end game content gear - new end game content [u][b]non content owners get[/b][/u] new light level and attack value - vanilla exotics only available for rewards and purchase - vanilla strikes - vanilla PVP maps and iron banner gear to replace end game content meaning and DLC purchase - vanilla end game content this was and is an ok business model mainly because people who like the game can get more out of it with dlc however this is what is changing [b][u]new non content owners[/u][/b] - new light level and attack value - vanilla exotics for reward and purchase - vanilla strikes - previous DLC maps and iron banner gear to replace end game content meaning and DLC purchase - end game content optional if you want the new light level and attack value put on all legendary gear unbeknownst if you did the old end game content or not. i am sorry to all the people out there who think they deserve more free content, but it is an absurd ideal and negates any meaning to DLC purchase or the creation of new content. if you like the game so much throw some money its way to say thanks.
