Concept of a playable fallen (positive input is appreciated)

We've all seen the detailed character design of the fallen , and I for one like its detail and would love to have a fallen character to play as in destiny. along side its fellow human,awoken,exo guardians weve known since the awoken and fallen could work together (till house of wolves dlc) it was possible to coexist (and before it was known they were revolting i hoped they would be a playable clan TT_TT ) there is even a fallen vendor who is loyal to the queen 4 arms, glowing eyes , detailed armor, and a cape in some cases , makes these an imposing and fearsome creature I've recently been toying with the idea of a fallen character design to recommend and wanted feedback trying to not make them over power or under powered two sub class types. and unlike other characters, the light level dictates physical appearance (dreg ->vandal->captain-> kell) [b]EDIT:[/b] The basic concept is that as your new Fallen guardian grows in light , so do they in appearance. so start out as a dreg and with light grow to a kell . now the height has been noted as to large or HUGE character and would be overpowered at least in terms of size and ground coverage (how fast they cover ground) so we alter this setup possibly to dreg-> vandal-> captian as they are a relatively standard size Now some have said that this could make the game not as fun so an alternative suggestion by those who have been following this idea Playable vandal race , standard guardian titan/warlock/hunter this would bring the fallen in line as just a basic playable race , i still like the idea of evolving, but on bases of picking one and making it fair many pointed out the vandal is a good base fallen character design (all the looks and basic size, i still like captains best..) [b]possible sub classes[/b]: 1: Lance charger (arc) unit is encased in light and charges forward at ramming speed, for a short amount of time and damages all units impacted by it (a basic charging unit style, runs forward and bashes units in its path) 2: Song of Battle (solar or void) unit can do three various "songs", but only one active 1- Song of War (causes all enemies to focus on the activated player, who is given extra speed(highlighted in pvp ) 2- Song of Challenge ( player is cloaked in a flame shield (alternative to arc shield fallen, so not to be mistaken) shield dissipates after a length of time or to much damage ( weapons can punch through of same type) 3- Song of Life ( based on the servitors ) releases a healing aura in waves to other units in fire team that gives a health regeneration (must be close to activated player proximity) , as the further away a unit is , the less health it receives , and the health waves are pulses that happen every 10 seconds [b]Shaders concept:[/b] much like how shaders change armor, how about it also changes the glowing colors on the fallen, like eye, or basic armor lights (seen on vandals and captains on inspection) I hope you enjoyed this concept , and have input or alterations to add to it [b]Developing the concept [/b] Now weve had a lot of input on this heres another thought on the playable fallen design I think is a very fair idea Take a vandal base [spoiler]http://www.primagames.com/media//files/eguide_assets/destiny-eguide/200-227_Codex-web-resources/image/fallen-vandal_with_shock-rifle_fmt.jpeg[/spoiler] and add a captain styled helmet make our fallen have only two arms, similar to a dreg, as being a disgraced or disowned fallen this would be a nice concept for a mercenary based fallen character thank you for your time -MAKO
