Sorry for double posting, but as I posted i saw the comment above mine, i wanted to make a reply. 5. Quitting: Only in moderation There are plenty of totally valid reasons to quit. For example, if you're on fire. Or, if your mother is on fire. Or, even if your dog is setting your mother on fire. However, these things come with statutes of limitations. For quitting, if you do it so often that we recognize it as bad behavior, you're risking the wrath of the Banhammer. sirROBIN, you wouldn't get banned for quitting once because your house was on fire. Unless you burnt down your house multiple times, which in that case I think you have other issues to worry about, they wouldn't see anything suspicious about you quitting once. It's funny that you use an example that is very similar to theirs, but you didn't seem to read what they had to say. Plus I think everyone at Bungie thinks that t-bagging is such a beautiful art, that they would never touch it, unless you t-bagged one of them, which in that case, your own dang fault :P. If i were you i'd only yell corruption when they started banning people for posting "First!" on their forums, wait no.. That would be AWESOME!

the update to the website is awesome, but does anyone else have a bit of an issue with the way the community files topic areas are set up. That when you click from the search area to look at a specific item, you then have to click on another link "View All Comments" just to see the description post by the creator. Then sometimes you have to click another link to get to the map variant, blah blah and so on. Couldn't it be switched? when you get to the first page, you start with the oldest comment being displayed(usually the creators) and then click another link if you wish to see the most recent comments?

Alright ive only heard from the discussion boards, but if players are getting banned for quitting games then Bungie has become corrupt with power. I love halo, it rarely ever leaves my 360s cd tray, but whats next, are u going to BAN US FOR TEABAGGING. I mean you try to play with a bunch of 4 year olds that have no skill, cant cooperate, and cant speak at a reasonable level that doesn't require me to turn my mic's volume down. I mean what if something important outside of the bungie realm happen and I have to leave. Ex. My house is burning down and i decide to quit my game before escaping the burning building, i grab my most prized belongings (360 and games) and dash out the house just in time to watch it burn to the ground. Dont you think ive already gone through enough and shouldnt have to turn my xbox on in a motel just to find that ive been banned for quitting that game.

ok today i got online and my katana and security helmet are gone why and i want it back is it because i didnt get the double laser achievement and replaced it with the new achievement double double if so you suck and give me back my armor that i earned now!

butube sounds sick. But the only thing that made me mad about this, is that 3 ball is at the end of the month!!! Come on, thats what about 60% of people need now for the oddball achievement! But then again, the heavier weighting on oddball on legendary sort of helps.

What about lag? It said something about quitters for a bannable offense, but what about those who lag out? I know that I've had to drop games because I literally couldn't play. I would die and not respawn for minutes at a time...Go to Connection screens. Will Players be banned if they get lagged out enough times?

I would just like to make it clear that yes I was one of the people that got experience banned for two weeks but for the people that have been messaging me saying I boosted to get my 50's shut up already...I didnt cheat in any way shape or form to get my lvl the only thing i did which actually irks me even more is I played griffball and a few of the other dbl exp play list with a FULL PARTY of my friends to get some extra exp.......considering that once I got my first 50 I was at about 900 exp so 4100 is quite a long ways to go....I dont know I dont really care about experience anymore no one does since title update 2 came out...but actually I didn't really even care about it for a while before then....anyways my point is I did boost for EXP but I did not boost for my levels and if any of you still want to say that I did msg me in about 2 weeks when I get my new XBOX and i will play you......1v1 any day of the week BLAM THAT MOTHER BLAMMERS

wow im not sure why i got banned but if the mythic map pack doesnt come out before gears then ill hve to wait because i want to beat gears 2 on insane when it comes out. IM NOT TAT MUCH OF A GEARS FAN. I trully dont like gears but it is a godd game "FOR CAMPAIGN" I like to get the games beat on hardest diff as fast as i can and yes im getting gears 2 because of the campaign and online "ACHIEVEMETNS" LOL NO JK: gears is a good game HALO IS BETTER: ive played halo since halo 1 everyday. halo is soo good but the banhammer hit me when i dont cheat or do anything because it makes halo suck when you cheat or boost. I PREFER TO GET MY THINGS LEGIT: but as long as im not banned when gears 2 comes out BUNGIE ill still be playing halo. I TRULY WANT TO DIE PLAYING HALO 7 BECAUSE 7 IS BUNGIES NUMBER SO MAYBE THEY WILL GO TO SEVEN. THIS IS NOT LIKELY TO HAPPEN.

hey guys I just got the 7 0n 7 achivement and its 11:00 here in FL(still the 10/6). All I did was win one game and i got it. I thought you had to get 7 exp on the 7th to get it. I guess as long as you have 7 exp since the new update you get the achivement with on win.

Granted I haven't played a game at all in some time, so Bungie doesn't view me as the target audience, but I am getting more annoyed that people are banned for quitting. I get frustrated if it becomes clear, through my teammates, being outclassed, or my own ineptitude, that I am not going to do well in a game. And no amount of penalizing is going to make me sit in a game I'm hating. If you want to ban me for quitting an unenjoyable game, I don't want to be forced not to enjoy my xbox by you, and good riddance.

well one thing we have to realize is the entire game and system just got updated, so there are bound to be bugs. Dont worry im sure they'll get things back in order.

So lets say the party leader starts a game while your pooping, or starts a mp game after being in a custom or campaign game, or you have to answer the door and leave the house suddenly, or you fall asleep and the party leader keeps starting new games, will that count against you? Are you adding a auto kick or no start for AFC gamers like you do for the party leader when they are not there? I don't want to get banned or have a friend I'm playing with get banned for a silly mishap. Personally I know girl gamer (not going to name names) who got up to go to the bathroom and came back with McDonalds a half an hour later. We kept playing with that person in the lobby. We knew she would come back, eventually, and we didn't really care weather we won or lost because she was gone. I can understand banning modders and and people who try to manipulate the system, but life happens sometimes outside of the xbox community and xboxs get left on, I'm not trying to troll or anything and i know you can give me that whole "well just be more careful or responsible" spiel. i was just cirious what would happen and should I need to worry. =)

Wow, a Halo-movie to WMV function! That's so awesome! What will you guys at Bungie think of next, a "Tattoo this screenshot on your body" function? ...Don't answer that question, you guys could probably do it, somehow... So, this is for Bungie Pro only, right? Not just a regular 6-slot fileshare?
