To all those who struggle in the Crucible - Like I do.
Play on Monday night. I have been struggling with the Crucible parts on the Thorn and (yes even) the Invective bounties - I am that bad. But low and behold I had an idea that maybe Monday night would be a good time to give it a go - all of the "good players" should have there marks and be waiting for the reset. Guess what?! It seems I was right!! I had one match with a 1.67 K/D ratio. I have never had such a run - finished the Invective part in about 5 matches! Yeah me! Again, Monday Night.

Hopefully the guys in here completing bounties aren't turning them in now, hold on to it at its last state and don't turn it in until HOW and it will be the highest level ! Good luck everyone...

4 RepliesI would just rather not play Crucible, especially Iron Banner. Is it still -blam!-ed up, 2 points for a win and Sweet FA for a loss. This is why I stopped playing Iron Banner, even though I rarely play Crucible full stop. Not enough game types on Destiny. I would like a game type where there are no Supers, a game of pure skill. Now that would be worth playing. Good luck on future games to you, and to every one else.

2 RepliesThis is good advice to hear, as I am every shade of terrible at Crucible. It's great that there are "down times" in there, because some of those bounties seemed completely out of reach for me. I'm playing Iron Banner this week as the part of "bait", so others on my team can ambush the dudes who come for the easy pickings that is me on the battlefield. At least my mom thinks I'm cool.

I find Iron Banner to be tedious at best. It would be more rewarding if you got some reputation for losing, even just a little. The medallions are nice, but when you lose 7 games in a row, and can't make up those medallions because you can only hold 5, it makes the game not that fun to play. I think Bungie needs to fix their join-in-progress though. I've lost so many games because I join games where we're losing by 7k points. I even joined a game... 500 points from the game being done, and my team was losing by 13k points. Lol. How is that even fair? I struggle in the Crucible with stuff like that. Just makes me mad.

iron banner was decent during beta. now its to much like cod. wtf... die in split seconds cant react and do anything really. none. of my weapons...worked... yet in regular old crucible i seemed to obliterate in non laggy matches. I hate this game mode with a fire in my eyes now..

Im rather good in the crucible very rare for anything lower than a 1 kd i would love to get a firetram together with people who face the struggle of the crucible and help them complete bounties and help on crucible load outs if you are down i play xbox one and is usually on for a while everyday shoot me a msg and we will get started.

Congrats. I just finished my Thorn bounty yesterday after a month because my K/D is horrible. However, I was determined not to give up. I finished my Invective bounty in an hour after I got the Suros from Crota. You'll like the Thorn.

It's matchmaking, it may seem that none of the "great" players are playing but you've just gotten lucky being matched up with others with possible equal skill levels. I play pretty much every night between 6-10, not like I'm someone to avoid but my point is matchmaking sometimes rewards you and sometimes screws you.

If you struggle with these bounties - complete them in regular crucible during Iron Banner. All the try hards/good players head over there for the week :)

I'm off on Wednesdays and find playing early in the morn goes well most times. Not sure why. Maybe no coffee in the guardian break room? Lol

Running reg crucible during IB has the same effect. I finished the 600 void bounty before I reached 8000 of the 10000 on the Toland legacy bounty doing them at the same time.

Iron Banner is also a good time... Lots of people who don't normally play PVP show up
