Yes, you can do the raid on normal and then hard and receive loot for both. I believe doing it on hard will net you the rewards for both in one single run, and I think it also gives you double the chances for hard raid items but I'm not entirely sure about this. For future reference, post in #Destiny , this specific sub forum is for all games other than Destiny.
