Spawn points during Crucible

So in doing crucible lately, I've noticed a significant increase in the problems with spawn mechanics for when you respawn, specifically in the more numerous modes though more so Control as that is what I prefer as of late. When respawning, even if your zone is occupied by a member of the other team, it's still respawning you right next to/ on top of them. Now when it's only one, maybe two people I get because it's actually a tactic, but when it's 4+ and they are near the only 2 spawn point and just killing you repeatedly without you even having a chance? There is something very very wrong. The most notorious of maps from my observation seem to be Blind Watch, Rusted Lands, Firebase Delphi (still), Pantheon, and Exodus Blue. To be more specific, the zones and scenarios I am referring to are: Blind Watch: When a team has zones B and C, you can have one person sit near the special ammo leading into the doors above B, and 2-4 people on the roof over watching A, and the other team is forced to spawn either in the room right behind A, or right on the ledge above it making easy pickings for those on the roof. Rusted Lands: When a team again holds zones B and C, using the water tower close to C and always the back and into the water on C, your entire team can be in so long as 1 person remains back near the water or around the heavy and the other team is forced to spawn in a couple spots on the back side of A with only 2 routes they can take. Again easy pickings and annoying as hell when you are the one being picked off. and keep spawning in the same spot over and over and over again. Exodus Blue: While I love the map, the amount of running around people do makes this one insanely hard to find any specific spawn killing scenarios. But the worst spot I've seen is over near the A zone where you can be seen quite clearly from a few people sitting on a pipe near B not to mention you can still spawn there when more than half of the other team is there as well. I've died to being spawn killed by a still active blade dancer or sun singer more than a few times there, or been titan smashed near the container before you get to the building that holds B, respawned at A only to be Shoulder Charged by the same damn titan I died to not 5 seconds ago. Firebase Delphi: This one is a bit trickier since it is one of the larger maps. If you control A and B, 90% of the time anyone killed on the other team will spawn behind the bunker where C is, and if not there, just near where the heavy ammo spawns on that same side. 1 person from the team that controls A and B can stay near that heavy ammo spawn and then it forces the entire other team to spawn near that bunker repeatedly, and never on the other side of the map except in very rare instances. Pantheon: Since this a Dark Below map, I don't play on it often, and don't see it often either even when it's just normal DB Normal Control. But it has probably the worst spawn mechanics I've seen bar none. If you are on the C side, just one person from the other team can literally stand directly where you will spawn on that side and kill you again instantly. Not only that, but I've seen the entire enemy team be in between zones B and C and just slaughter my team repeatedly as we kept spawning right in that same spot behind zone C. I've noticed this more so in Inferno Control than I have in normal Control but it is beyond irritating and doesn't even give the team on that side a fair chance to regroup. The other maps have their own problems with this as well, but these have been the worst offender's I've seen since this last update, and since Inferno Control was released.

  • I like to refer to them as revenge spawns not respawns. Can't count how many times I'll kill someone and have them spawn so close to me they can kill me before my shields even regen'd...and I have my perks set for max regen speed.

  • I played a game yesterday on burning shrine. One enemy was catching A and his teamate 50 feet away. I spawn and of course i get shot from both sides and have no chance.

  • The biggest issue of this games garbage spawn system is when I die with the entire enemy team from my team finishing them off as I die and the game decides I need to re-spawn in the same area as the entire enemy team.

  • I agree with the issue, but what's the solution? Completely random grid spawn points? That might just make it worse. Lengthened invulnerability on spawn? Maybe. What about being made invisible for 10 seconds after you spawn? That sounds like it would give the spawning Guardian the advantage though....maybe 5? Spawning in with one round of heavy ammo? Hey I like that one....turns the tables on the campers a bit. What are your ideas for a solution?

        I've had the worst spawns I've ever experienced this past week returning to Destiny. Multiple game modes I've spawned in the middle of a firefight, in an enemy occupied location, or right next to somebody. I was playing rumble on The Cauldron (I think?) And somebody I killed spawned directly behind me and killed me with a fusion rifle Some weird ish going on
