Best way to get glimmer?
Curious because I need some for iron banner comin up

Just do ROC strikes. You just pop a consumable for whatever you're killing in their respective strike. I've noticed the Omnigul strike gets a decent amount. Nightfalls/heroics also give a ton. Due to the bajillion yellow bar enemies.

I've been playing a lot of Crucible this weekend to get ready, and I've noticed that I'm making a lot of glimmer in the Crucible. I didn't know that was a thing. It's basically win-win.

2 RepliesGo to Archon priest with a team and when you get to the part where you have to open the door, everyone just stays up on the cliffs. Pop an ether seed and start sniping. No one will shoot at you and the enemies will just keep re-spawning.

I just pop a consumable when I do the 6 patrol missions if I'm short done it across my 3 characters today and got round 10k in glimmer from doing it.

Exclusion zone. Let one of the red barred enemies kill you after you kill the yellow bars.

1 ReplyVery first mission on Mars. I forget what it's called but it's level will be the lowest (duh). Put on the heroic modifier and every time a dropship comes by, at least 12 tier 2 legionnaires. Simply ignore the tier 1's and focus on the tier 2's. Withing 30 mins you can easily max your glimmer

Ishtar Commons. Pop an Ether Seed and a Blue Polyphage. Infinite enemies if you stay in the middle. Better than a loot cave and no reset needed.

Go into the nightfall with an icebreaker and kill the infinitely spawning first wave from the ketch. Make sure to use the blue polywhatevers.

1 ReplyNow that you have the answers can you delete this so it doesn't get patched or something ? Also if you want a bit more fun involved grind ROC and use the consumable for the race you're fighting in each strike

Go to exclusion zone on Mars put level 19 for heroic modifier and when the door opens and the cabal are there skip the red health by jumping over them and there will like 9 yellows and then die and repeat make sure to to put re supply codes for more glimmer
