Allow Empty Slots
Bungie, it would be great if you would allow a weapon or armor slot to just be empty, like the heavy slot is when you start the game. The reason I want this is that I keep a small collection of green junk gear for the sole purpose of unequipping my legendaries and exotics so I can move them from character to character more freely. I'd much rather not have to do that.

I'd much rather not have to do that.[/quote] I rarely have this problem. I deliberately keep a set of legendary gear on my characters at all times. While they are not as good as my main guns. They get the job done if I need to do quick mission or bounty.

In the PvP reveal of the new fallen shotgun (lord of wolves?) the player who is using it doesn't have a heavy equipped.
