And to those who take it upon themselves to prevent the other team from getting their heavy ammo... I hate/thank you.
-
Gaming sportsmanship 101: no reason to hog the heavy ammo in a team game. More heavy for team, more opportunities to win. But if you are stopping the other team by grabbing it, your sacrifice will be honored for your great deed.
-
I have some basic rules I follow, I go to nearest heavy, either its the one closer to my team, or I'm trying to steal it from the enemy. If I see a lot of red, I grab it, If I see teammates, I let someone else grab it, or grab when I see red. If about ten or more seconds pass and people are not coming or passing it up, I take it, I'm not going to wait forever...
-
The people who die preventing the one -blam!-er from the other team from grabbing your team's heavy are the real heroes.
-
Why thank you

Edited by HAVOC RETURNS: 4/26/2015 9:30:08 AMShores of time last night four of us running from C to the heavy drop between C and B. A level 24 ON OUR TEAM cracks it open and fires a rocket at us. Dude WTF? We're on your team!.......... then he gets killed..
-
Defo, never understand the ones who just run past it like "OMG SCREW HEAVIE DOOD GOTTA CAP A FLAG LORWL".
-
I always wait for people. Drives me nuts when I'm just waiting there and some random person runs up and grabs it while I see others coming for it and then I'm stand in there looking like an ahole that didn't wait for the team.
-
I'm the one that gets slaughtered for trying to steal other team's heavy. Some time it's successful and I get out alive and start killing.
-
yea they stand around so long i can get my heavy and wipe their team
-
Shit you guys can have it. I usually save my super for when heavy arrives then razers edge the enemy heavy spawn and snag theirs. When I'm successful, it's essentially game over for the other team. If I fail, I'm going to have a rough next few fights on my hands. People that don't wait are either stupid, or assholes, you decide.
-
-
I always wait for my team to get to the heavy. I hate watching A-holes who see teammates running to it and lift it.
-
The only rule of thumb people should take note of, is only take heavy if theres red on the radar simple as that. If not sit the f.uck down and wait for team mates 6 of us with heavy is better than 1. Shit like that can cost you the game
-
inversely, I hate it when I sit next to the crate for over 10 seconds and some people spawn, pass by and completely ignore it. my words: Are you dumb? do you want to lose? GTFO from crucible. some matches test my patience
-
I find myself running to the heavy amidst the enemy team more often than not to try and prevent them getting it, I'm fine killing or stalling a couple enemies then picking it up only to die straight away since we don't drop it upon death anymore.
-
-
Yeah, I'll just sit by it, never open it and wait till someone does. Guard it with my life and open it last min if 2-3 enemy team players are around the corner.
-
YOU THE REAL MVP. Never leave crucible please
Hate it when I'm clearing the heavy zone of bad guys only to get left with my johnson in hand after my teammates prematurely snatch the crate.
-
I look at my shitty radar and count to three. Whomever is there reaps the benefits. Most of the time can't wait for the whole team to get there.
-
Edited by KingOfUranus: 4/26/2015 8:14:12 AMMy god a positive post and it's the truth! Love it!
-
sad thing is, people who actually do that don't play crucible as much. I know I don't, but you're welcome
-
You're welcome. I always save my super to either protect my teams heavy or to kamakazi the other team right before/after they pick theirs up.
-
Yes you guys are the best!!! This has a direct impact on who is going to win the game.I wish these other guardians would use the game in the intended way and stop trying to be Rambo.its even worse when they pick it up without waiting on peeps to just get killed seconds later.
-
The only time I don't is when the enemy is coming right for it too. I hate the people who wait there for it and they can hear a hunter activate his super but yet they are still standing there. If that happens, grab it and run.
-
Agreed, it's one thing if the other team is all over you, by all means take it so they don't, but if there's no one around give us a few seconds, it takes time to respawn and run over (it always spawns me as far from both as possible just before heavy drops in) And if you're thinking you can take them out at their heavy spawn DO NOT take ours first, that's what your freaking super is for
