It is visually the most impressive Exotic in Destiny
Apparently the main Perk is to disorient enemies when activating fireborn (self resurrect), meaning you have to die to make full use of its effect. This depends if the datamine is correct
Useful or waste of Exotic Slot?

Personally, it has its advantages but some disadvantages in PvE high leveled content when using it as an attack strategy instead of keeping that Fireborn if things go wrong for a Fireteam. It will be a good perk to escape hoards of enemies when self resurrecting. Using it as an offensive move could potentially be asking for trouble as a Hobgoblin/Sniper Vandle can instant kill you again from a distance or a Praetorian lampoon you with them Void grenade bombs from outside the radius what ever it may be. We all now how these suckers can be in the highest leveled content.
As for PvP, it has uses, but against players who have the keen eye and happen to spot the Ram will avoid you if they kill you in mid combat ranges. Remember, you have 10 seconds until you automatically respawn, so the likelihood of a player or players stumbling across your ghost is a rare occurrence. People may anticipate dead ghosts to be Ram headed Warlocks now that the knowledge of its perk gets out there.
It can work as an attack strategy but can potentially fail due to variabilities.
It can work in melee/shotgun situations, but whose to say the opposing player has a Nova Bomb or Fist of Havoc waiting for you, should you want to act revenge?

...alright Warlocks, you win this round due to style, but we'll be back...we always get back. •~• -_- *dramatically whips cape back*
-
Decent for PvP, but otherwise, watered-down Saint-14 that requires you to die to be of any use. Largely waste of a slot.
-
I read that it's when radiance is activated, doesn't have to be fireborn. Could be radiant skin or song of flame. Am I the only one who has read it this way?!
-
Prefect for sunsinger a everywhere in every activity. Like when you get overwhelmed by the invisible vandals on omnigual in the little room self revive and wreck them
-
People keep saying that if you're killed in crucible, people will notice the Ram and stay away.. But nobody will be able to run fast enough because it's a shotgun fest
-
That helm is sweet and has many useful situational purposes from pvp to nightfalls. But I was hopin to get some warlock boots this time around, I WANNA LEVITATE DAMMIT! A few secs to hover and shoot, like the lil perk on the tree we all usually overlook for the 2nd nade one, but last a lot longer not too long but better than the perk itself
-
Could just equip it while dead then revive?
-
I'm only using it if I get tbagged.
-
This thing will be awesome in trials of Osiris. If you die wait till the enemy team is around then blind them and win the round.
-
i think its just badass, the look, the perk, the fact that you can not only come back from the dead like a god, but you fucking blind everyone with your glory, thats classified as badass in my book
-
It'll make me want want to use sunsinger in crucible blinding or stunning after I revive most of the time when I kill a sunsinger and he revives I just kill him again pretty funny, this will be an interesting exotic might be fun if you die to a large group of enemies and revive stunning all of them and killing everyone in the surrounding area
-
I'll use it purely because of the way it looks.

Edited by Homeless Alex: 5/1/2015 5:36:27 PMGreat another thing that encourages warlocks to die...
-
Should be brilliant in nightfalls
-
It's good for when everyone is down U need to revive people. If u are covered by enemies I would radiance and disorient them giving me time to get away
-
I think it'll be perfect for ToO. Use reborn, blind the opposing team and take em out to win the round.
-
I mean if it works like how the saint 14 works if I get killed and then radiance up and everyone gets blinded I'll be impossible to kill
-
What it comes down to is how big the AoE is on the CC effect.
-
It is visually the most impressive exotic
Pure opinion, I think it looks dumb.
-
Who cares how useful it is. It's hands down the most badass helm in the game IMO.
-
Totally just want it because it looks awesome
-
It could be a blue helmet and Id wear that over anything in the game!! Just wish it was a titan shoulder charge helm.
-
Considering what we now know about trials of Osiris elimination mode this could be quite a clutch helm to save a team when the enemy team is camping your ghost. Before we knew anything about elimination it was at best a "meh" perk.
-
To counter your invalid comment of "People will see and anticipate" People see Titans with the helm of st. 14 and they still get blinded by bubbles lol
-
Looks useful as hell, but I need it first to tell for sure
-
Now if it did upon radiance, period. Not a waste. The only useful scenario I see is a nightfall where someone is dead and surrounded by enemies, you jump down to revive because regardless of lightswitch or numbers you can land next to him, get killed, self Rez, blind the enemies and revive your buddy so you can escape to safety. Maybe toss a couple grenades as you go.
