Optional Matchmaking
Why do the Strikes have to have matchmaking? I know they are supposed to be co-op missions, but that doesn't mean there aren't people, such as myself, who would enjoy the experience of tackling them solo. Before the Weekly Strikes had matchmaking, I did solo them. I just find it annoying that Bungie are not enabling solo players with regards to Strikes. I know I would greatly appreciate the ability to opt-in or -out for matchmaking for PvE content.

Nope. It's bungie's philosophy that you should stop playing the game, get on the internet, and spend 5 - 10 minutes trying to random matchmake yourself because they're not gonna do it for you.

Including this simple option could bring about one of the best changes in how many play Destiny.

Actually I would like to help people lower than me... I'm 31 titan and 31 hunter. Everyone knows how frustrating it can be when your a level 22 or 24.

Yes optional match making on everything. If you don't like it then turn it off.

Bump, also, I want optional matchmaking for nightfall and raids. Would make everyone's life easier.

It would be nice. I got so tired of carrying people, having afk players, or running into people that just run passed everything to the point where I don't do strikes and weeklies unless I have a full team which means I am not enjoying the game to the fullest. I wish they would open their eyes and see that forcing people to play with strangers all the time isn't cool. I just do my story mission bounties now and not really play Destiny until I have friends online to do other activities with. A very long and boring waiting game since 80% of my friends are tired of all the repetition in this game that lacks so much content. Lastly, they need more 6 player activities. You can only do a raid one time and get rewards for it so it really doesn't have any replay ability in the same week. Why must we split up parties and play two 3 player games? *shakes head*

Yes. I much prefer running strikes solo. I'm happy when both my team mates go to orbit.

1 ReplyI agree wholeheartedly. I've found myself not doing the weekly now unless I have a full fireteam. Before, I would two-man it with a buddy, or just solo it. I feel there should be [u]optional[/u] matchmaking for all PvE activities.
