Many games, TV/Movie plots, books, ect. have the One-Man Army feel.
Only the one can do it!
The legendary one has come!
The one will save our village!
Even Halo is guilty of this. Halo 2 saves itself from this slightly, thanks to the many allies in the game.
Though it makes the main charactor have more of a purpose, a reason to do the rediculous thing needed, I think the whole concept is over-used.
Does anyone else have a problem with this?

Damn Matrix

Nah, it gives it a more heroic feel to it. Teamwork is cool, but not as "against-all-odds" like a one-man army.

Well, Yes its over-used but its a very popular theme. I think most people like a central main character who does the most. I do. I personally think games which you a team or have to rely on a team boring.
