BLADES OF CROTA NOT ON EARTH ANY MORE
Whats the deal here still get bounty from eris but no blades on earth bungie please explain no trolls please

You have to do the [i]Fist of Crota[/i] story mission. There's one blade just before the boss.

4 RepliesI've noticed this as well. A heads up would do well, now we have to play FoC over and over to get the bounty done. Lame. Either put the blades back or cancel out the bounties. It's only fair to us who complete these tasks.

I use to combine this with patrolling.. now I don't bother with it because I don't want to keep loading up the fist of crota mission.

Hey, I understand your frustration, but as of patch 1.1.2, either by accident or on purpose bungie has removed the blades of crota spawning in patrols. The only way you will find one is by doing the Fist of Crota mission which is on the earth! Good luck, guardian!

Kinda sux repeatedly doing a mission I'd rather patrol/public bounties and kill sword bearers lvl weapons and armour all in one area....

4 RepliesBungie needs to answer this folks because the Fist of Crota is a level 24 mission. Therefore folks below level 22 cannot accomplish this bounty and having developed three characters i still remember and was very happy when I was able to team up to take out a Blade of Crota with higher level folks on the same random mission. I also would plan my public event bounty with a Blade of Crota bounty. Bottomline is it needs to be fixed!

Doesn't sound like a bug ... Don't think its right to remove a part of a dlc but I think they did it on purpose .... No response to several comments and they haven't mentioned anything about it since it happened .... I hope they bring them back as they were a nice distraction from the grind...

Apparently they fixed crota as well but he's still upto his same tricks! Bungie need to sort there s@@t out!

1 ReplyThe latest news letter addresses this by simply saying that the blades can still be found in FOC mission. I believe that this not a bug, but done to make way for some other fallen based random encounter that ties into House of Wolves.

Play Fist of Crota. The reason I think no more Sword of Crota spawn on Earth or Moon is for some players who don't have bounty ruin for those who have the bounty by killing the knight or hive that is required to be killed by sword. Players just give up and play Fist of Crota.

They've gone from patrol to make way for some fallen enemies I think. You have to do missions instead
