The Complete Bastardization of The Master Chief (peace and blessings be upon him)
I'm sure we've all seen the recent marketing campaign by Microsoft, with the main scope being "did Master Chief betray humanity?"
Can we all talk about the uncalled for and irrational bastardization of Master Chief? Throughout the game the story will probably include Master Chief clearing his name or the misconception in some way.
To argue that Master Chief betrayed humanity after saving the galaxy from upmost destruction is a slap in the face to Master Chief, the fans, and the writers.
Personally, I don't recognize the validity of the storyline following Halo 3 (nor should anyone else) and I vehemently refuse to acknowledge this legitimized "fan-fiction". [b]The storyline of Master Chief ended in the cyrotube, falling asleep with Cortana in the sea of stars[/b].

2 RepliesSo clearly halo 4 which arguably had best campaign when it comes to lore, depth, emotion, and plot is pretty much fan fiction? I see...well thankfully not all halo fans think like you, some like myself actually prefer 343 to Bungie. Just a heads up when I say I'm a halo fan (and yes fanboy) I truly mean it, been playing since CE.

Compare it to the world today.....where war heroes get -blam!-ed for making a judgment call that potentially saved dozens of lives. Then get arrested and called traitors because of politicians who serve there own private agenda.....my guess that's what's going to end up happening with halo 5...take Locke for instance.... He is probably being fed propaganda from high ranking individuals and that is why he believes the chief is the enemy.

The new trilogy is blatant shameless money grabbing. The second Microsoft announced a new trilogy, Halo moved to the same ladder rung as CoD. A joke made only to cash in on fanboys who mindlessly eat up whatever Halo flavored pile of shit Microsoft throws at them.
