I'm sure any of you are anywhere ranging from surprised to downright angry at Bungies announcement that House of Wolves will [b]not[/b] be featuring a new raid, but rather another activity entirely. What they decided to go with instead is still a bit of a mystery, but what I found most surprising was that this new activity that will replace a third raid is called Prison of Elders. If you follow this link> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8jQmhbFJ0jg and skip to 1:20 you'll see that for quite some time Bungie had plans to release a raid in the reef. Now bear in mind this video is old, [b]very [/b] old. Even without seeing leaks like this and the ones displaying the other expected DLC, many of us were under the strong impression that Bungie was making a Raid along side House of Wolves as they had done at launch and when Dark Below released. This comes completely out of left field and I understand a lot of the anger I've been seeing on the forum, but that anger is simply out of confusion. I'll be the first to admit I'm disappointed that the House of Wolves wont have a raid; I'm also worried that whatever the Prison of Elders [b]is[/b] going to be will disappoint further. All that said I'd like to be optimistic, most of my anxiety towards the House of Wolves currently is derived more from the lack of information surrounding the Prison of Elders. I think we'd all be a lot less worried if Bungie told us what they have planned so that we can say "Oh never mind that's actually really cool we were worried for nothing" or worst case scenario "Yeah... that's a bad idea, you guys should definitely not go in that direction next time". Edit1: (I probably should have said this earlier but oh well) While a lot of the leaks and posts leading up to house of wolves pointed to a new raid launching with the expansion at no point did Bungie expressly say that a raid would be included. It is absolutely disheartening that a raid was not part of HoW but Bungie never promised us one.
