Please, Deej, mention this to the development team. Please, add in an offline mode for Destiny. The game is unplayable without Internet and I don't have Internet atm. I have a year of PlayStation plus still running, tho, but I can't even play your game. All I want to do is upgrade some guns and I can't even do that without Internet.
I picked up Borderlands: The Handsome Collection, because of this. I'm glad it has an offline mode. It's really scratching my Destiny itch. Still, please, add a offline mode for Destiny. Thank you.

Okay yes there should be an offline mode fir destiny and it would not be hard to do but if it does happen in the future then bungie should add npc's. Destiny will need an offline mode in the future as the servers cannot run forever and people will not be happy when they can no longer play a game that they have invested so much time and money into. And on the topic of people being able to hack or tamper with the game if it goes offline, it is a relatively simple task to detect a faulty account or save file and ban the user to a cgeater server like rockstar does with gtaV or just ban the player from being able to access the online server's. All of this can be done and I think that it would be a good idea as bungie will be able to niw reach offline audience and therefore make more money, it could also prompt them to improve on the single player story aspects.

How about no.
-
Borderlands is better.
-
No people could hack way too easy
-
No. There should be offline just because you can't get on? Get Internet scrub. There are lots of things that need added and this is not one.
-
It would be very easy to make hacked weapons and gear if the weapons and armor were stored on your console instead of being on a server
-
There's absolutely no reason for this game to be online only. Give us split screen and off line mode.

Edited by Munsin1: 5/14/2015 7:58:13 PMyou can't give an MMO an offline mode, it just can't and won't happen. You could put on a split screen mode though if you would still connect online.
-
Online only js
-
The story mode is offline and so are the patrols
-
-
They won't do this Cause it would require them to do work which is something they don't do
-
Bungie's response "Waaaaaaaaaaait, you mean fix a problem this size using only five hundred million dollars? Also, last gen consoles aren't strong enough to run an offline mode. We could probably make it work with a DLCS though!"
-
It would Open all Doors for Hackers, dupers and all other scrubs.
-
Let's make it happen Bungie!
-
Give one to world of warcraft and eso and all other games to that makes sense
-
Yes it would be nice to have a offline mode to play Destiny especially for the people who are having connection problems/issues. Mass Effect had both I think all games should have both options.
-
Your character info is on their servers....
-
You have a year of Playstation plus, Destiny, a PS, but no internet?
-
I've no clue how they'd make it happen tbh. But id want to see if it could work. Especially for system linked customgames.but at the moment there arent even custom games.
-
And offline mode is my dream dude especially when it comes to farming and shit.
-
No no and no
-
A proper offline mode would be great for versatility on a shared network around the home and mean we can atill play when the provider is doing maintenance for example.
-
I'd love a vanilla copy of this game. I'll pay hundreds for it, and more for a private server. I have a clan, and more people would join if I could enforce some mother flipping rules.

Edited by RoNiN_YaSuO_sama: 4/16/2015 2:01:12 PMThey cant. The entire gsme, npcs, missions and boss npcs are on the destiny server. The disc just holds the areas, scripts, and gfx of the game to lessen the load on the servers. They would have to remake destiny to implement offline mode
