Every game has at least one of them...

From Halo: CE to Halo: Reach, out of map gamers have always existed on the bungie developer side of things. https://www.bungie.net/en/Legend/PGCR?instanceId=2266618440&characterId=2305843009214999915 Recently found a new strategy involving Pantheon, Black Garden, Mars. The end game statistics is linked above through my Titan 31/32 profile. Courtesy of the Join In Progress I couldn't make a bigger dent into them, but hey, this was still a good lesson to be learned. Basically the three enemy players stayed up, on the original platform spawns and simply played keep away the entire match. At first, I thought, "smart strategy". You force an entire enemy team to have to shoot at very low to no vantage points with sniper rifles up there and even if they kill someone, two others can revive immediately with the faster respawn gear on. As the match dragged out, they utilized machine guns and the one titan defender bubble to basically ensure that my other teammates had to come forward since they were winning the entire time. We held onto that match because I simply equipped hunger of crota and gave them a few lock on RPG lessons as well as my own magnetic grenade from my titan defender class. When they were forced down? Felwinters Lie had no issue killing the hunters and titan so I felt it a fair trade for their strategy and the end game statistics proved that much for my game. After the match however, I reported my two teammates using the report player function. When you see someone doing something that clearly was designed to be used for a one time spawn and turn it into an actual strategy which ANY prepared crucible player can counter and simply walk forward to die a lot of times giving them a win? That my friends is called scoreboard manipulation. Like a baseball pitcher purposely throwing a game. All the same, there is two parties to blame here. Camping, purposely upsurping the spirit of the competitive matchmaking which is to try to win the match through teamwork on the DESIGNATED playing field does not include the original spawns. Therefore? Unsporting conduct according to Xbox is the only complaint to be given. You can't manipulate the gameplay goals by sitting in a far away spot which can't be reached. I'd say I'm sorry, but I'm grinning just as much smiling at the cleverness. To the other two teammates one of which who quit out? If you can't counter the strategy? Simply back up and stay out of the entire firing line. Yes, it will be boring. Yes, it be terrible for you to bear. Go off and enjoy the map scenery. Go look at the bright and shiny lights. Because the crucible is no place for those who cannot think outside the box when clearly the other team of campers, being just as bad, wins a match because you failed to THINK before you ACTed. All the same, I'll never be seeing those gamertags again which is my personal goal. The report player function so far has been working beautifully and that's why this thread was created. Just play the game the way it was meant to be played guys. That means going down and accepting loss just as much as winning by 3k points in a skirmish match.
