---World Bosses--- Similar to MMOs and games like it. WoW,FFXI,FFXIV,SWTOR,GW2 In the "Open" world there could be huge bosses like Phogoth or new ones that roam around in random areas on long re-spawn timers. They would NOT be able to be solo'd, a few fireteams would be needed to take them down. Think glorified "kill target" public event that doesn't de-spawn until it's killed. However, the rewards are what would keep it fresh. Give it a token system set up to get specific gear only obtained by beating them and the bosses themselves could also drop vanity gear. I know this is not original and new, but I think it can add some more lively stuff happening in the open world. Adding a new Endgame element. Give us bigger Co-Op experiences: open world bosses for 6-16 players Thoughts? Edit: why not add some news scrolling in the tower when they pop to entice players to look for them: "Phogoth's bastard brothers Twinkie and Caboose (halo reference) broke off their chain, Hunt them down on the moon and secure the area for the vanguard." This fight could be a Romeo and Juliet fight( two targets that must be killed within the same timeframe or they keep respawning) World bosses can have different mechanisms and abilities that require supers to help win. Example: the boss instant wipes all players in an area if not inside ward of dawn when the _______ ability goes off. ( there would be an onscreen tell and sound before it happens) Edit: Maybe we can get titles under our name for beating certain ones as well as raid bosses and other feats. Like HELLOSPACEBOY "Killer of Crota"
