My Thank You Letter to Bungie.

My Thank You Letter to Bungie I’ve had never been a really big gamer, it was never really in my blood. Until about the middle of September of last year when my friend recommended a game called “Destiny” to me. I thought I would give it a try, I knew I wasn’t going to be impressed. After about 10 hours of playing, I got through the campaign with my Hunter. Overall, I thought the game was all right, and I continued playing. I thought I would try and give the end-game content a go. That’s where I realized how fantastic this game is, there was so much to do beyond the campaign, I eventually got glued to it. I started to Daily missions and Weekly Heroics, I got rewards, and I was eventually able to do the Vault of Glass. That was a treat, doing a raid for the first time. I got more attached to the game, loved it even more, created another Hunter and a Warlock, and did the same. You could say it sounds like everyone else, we have all been through the same process, but never before had I loved a game so much. And yeah, you could say that I haven’t played the real MMO/RPG games, you could say I’m a noob to the gaming world, you could even say I’m some kind of fanboy trying to protect Bungie from all the haters. Go ahead. I get why you would. But this game has a special place in my heart. I’ve spent 700 hours on a game I love to bits, not regretting a single moment. This game got me through the toughest time in my life. It may sound crazy, but it is true. It gave me something to look forward to after a long day. It gave me hope. It relieved some stress off of me. Destiny has put me in a better spot in my life. Now I have become so emotionally attached to this game, that I dream about it all the time. This game is like my girlfriend. I really do look forward to the House of Wolves, I think it will be a great DLC, and it will definitely keep me coming back. In short, I’m just trying to say thank you Bungie. Thank you for putting in the work that very few recognize. Thank you for creating a game that made me feel better as a person, thank you for letting me meet great friends. Thank you for continuing to support this game, continuing to expand the world of Destiny and make it a better place. Not many know how hard it is to keep cranking out updates to improve the game like you guys are. Trust me, negative comments stick out more than the positive ones, I hope one of you sees this though, and know that you did do something right, people still love this game, that is why they give so much criticism, because they care about it’s future. Keep up the great work over there. Sincerely, Hockey Dan 94
