Its about time that a trading method is implemented? I know people could get scammed blah blah, but something close to this idea? I mean some people wish for a gjallarhorn and it literally takes them literally forever to obtain. I just want something like this feature implemented. Also make it that you have to be a certain level. Maybe level 30?

Problem with trading is someone will always work out how to make real world money out of it. Which in turn will lead to "farmers" appearing everywhere. One way around it would be to allow "loaning" within a fire team? So I have 4 Fatebringers, I could lend them out to my fire team for the duration of that fireteam only?
-
It can be a good idea if after the game there will be a time where you can exchange things with your fireteam (like the Advancement, Rewards thing after) a separate one for like 30-50seconds or once the fireteam decides to end the exchanging period

I personally am against any kind of weapon trading that fosters an underground economy in the game. However I do think that it could be implemented to mitigate this by only allowing trades within the Fireteam immediately after a drop. Say 1 minute or so. Prevent anyone else joining the Fireteam within that window. Many times I've had drops only to see players get duplicate items, but items another player wants". I have literally heard this in a game. Me: "I just got another GHorn. Who got the Vex?" Guy: "Me, Wan't to trade?" Me: "Sure I don't have a Vex yet." Guy: "Sure, I have three but no GHorn's" Everyone's happy, no economy to mess around with cause you don't have time. etc...

No we dont need another black market in gaming
-
every type of trading system i have seen has had a way discovered to duplicate items. this would absolutely break the loot system and game.

How many more times are we going to have this topic??? As someone else has said, the game is all about the grind so ANY type of trading system reduces the grind considerably, even if it's as your rewards are shown at the end of a nightfall etc. It also opens up a world of possible glitches with duplicating items and people asking for money to trade in game items. Most of us are struggling to find things to do in the game as it is so why would you want even less to do because you've traded unwanted items and got everything you need?
-
I say yes but only when the item drops...no player trades after x time has passed and can only be traded/given to those who were there when the item droped.
-
Not a trading system, but maybe an exchange. At the end of a nightfall, say you obtained a weapon you already have but your friend wants, and your friend obtained something he already had and you want. It'd be nice to exchange loot drops with one another.
-
Trading would ruin the game.
-
They have said that it will never happen. The entire community could want it, and I don't think they'd do it.
-
i dont think they can implement trading without severely reducing the rate of drops. since the point of the game is collecting loot they are able to justify the grind. if trading was permitted all items would be collected in maybe 20-30 hours - instead of spending hundreds in hope of winning the rng lottery. once you have all the gear in maybe 3-4 raids why waste more time? the game is too repetitive and doesnt have enough content to justify a trading system; but after a few more dlc? sure, good idea (ps. im using my own rate of duplicates as a measurement and viewing the situation from bungivisions point of view- they want you to waste your life on their game)
-
Would ruin the loot system. I'm not saying destiny doesn't need a better loot system but the current one they have in place, the only trade system that would work would be some sort of end game system with the people that were in the game with you with only those items. Destiny is based off grinding for those weapons and bungie uses it to get more play time from people and addiction. If you could trade, no one would feel the need to grind out the items they want.

I'm surprised at the poll percentages. Why not? It's a really good idea. I think you should at least be twenty, cause you need to be that before you can equip everything.

Some feedback is nice ^^
