No viruses will ever get me or my computer *locks door to room* *adds 5 more firewalls* *unplugs modem* *smashes modem with hammer* *kisses computer and hopes its safe* *wonders if step 1 and 2 were nessecary*

Hmm... This could herald in a new age of Computer medicine. Think about it, We'd have people developing the newest "anti-viral" drug for your computer. And then we'd reach the edge of our ingenuity and the virus would take over all our computer systems, erase all the data and we would all be so incredibly screwed, kind of like the road we're going down with anti-biotics, there already a Staff infection bacteria that is almost completely immune to our strongest anti-biotics. Have fun thinking about that next time you go in for surgery.

Luckuly I don't have my own computer. This computer can get all the viruses in the world it's not mine.

Reminds me more of that 'skynet' thing or whatever it was in Terminator 3. I mean, you can download the project from sourceforge...
being able to download it is -blam!- up...can you download actual viruses? or does it mean the data?
I think it means to DL the program they used to test it. Or the data they collected.

I'd be completely fascinated if Viruses evolved. Imagine: A program that changed itself to survive - a program that grew beyond its original programming.
-
Wait a minute... these tings sound almost self-aware... and their intelligence seems to be growing exponentially... soon we'll have a bunch of these things... We can't have too many meta-stable artificial personality constructs running around!

I can't help it! [Edited on 2/15/2005 5:43:55 PM]

Umm.....that's a little scary.
-
Reminds me of the Borg.
-
Quite interesting. Now all of computers are screwed.
-
Well thats why they usaly do. Not so much that they evolve they just reproduce without any real consistancy. [Edited on 2/15/2005 5:38:05 PM]
