This game is still growing! You have to understand that Destiny is the first of it's kind. Its the very first MMO FPS on console. the xboxone and Ps4 are New to the mmo genra. Bungie is trying to fight off Activision and keep us happy at the same time so let's show them some support!
Dont cry for nerfs and stop asking for things to go away, because it's here to stay.
The RNG is Destinys bread and butter and is very unique at that. Other games have a RNG system but in Destiny it's the foundation of it's reward system. It sucks when the weaker player gets lucky and you don't, trust me I know, as do a lot of you. But don't get discouraged! Pick up you're controller (or buy a New one) and try again. The grind is part of the fun, every MMO has this, so if you think you're gonna quit Destiny for say Neverwinter think again the grind is still gonna be there.
If you don't like it then stop playing, don't go posting it in the fourmes because we all understand you're pain.
Stay true guardians and rise up!
House of wolves is just around the corner.

Bungie is the first company in gaming history to charge people $100 for a beta. For this, we must commend them HOO RAY BUNGIE! !
-
In many ways, I agree. Destiny seems to be a bit of a paid beta. Destiny 2 will hopefully be much improved. However, saying that, there are still many decisions that I scratch my head at best and downright incompetent/stupid at worst...
-
Great positive post. I love the game, it's just the lack of communication between Bungie and the paying customers that gets annoying. They have earnt 1 billion dollars from this game so they can easily afford to pay full time staff to talk to us every day.
-
For your positivity here you go
( . Y . )
EXACTLY

The problem is not the RNG but the player base's response to it. You yourself have used the term 'scrub'. You also hear noob, casual and loads more. The community has created a divide between those that have been blessed and those that have not. It is complete nonsense.
-
Agreed
-
I totally agree dude.
-
Wait what? Complaining about what? Lack of content? RNG? Well lack of content can be complainined about so, due to people paying 60 dollars, they can make suggestions. If you're complaining about numbers then um well... Good luck getting a response
-
Its the younger generation. They don't realise they've never had it so good.
-
Bungie themselves stated that Destiny wasn't an MMO...
-
Sounds like you're a complaining scrub.
-
1) it's not an MMO. 2) Dust 514 came out before this. 3) no excuse for lack of content/varied gameplay in base game when the game had a 5 year development cycle and a $500 million budget. It's fun, but come on.
-
This shits isnt mmo or an rpg, its a single player game that has missions u can do with others
-
I'm used to grinding. 6 (almost 7 now) year WoW player. Grinding is a double-edged sword; It's good, because it shows how much value the game has when you willingly play the same content over and over just to get something you need/want. But if not balanced correctly (risk/reward), it can make the game seem repetetive quickly, and you'll lose interest. As you say, Destiny is still very new, less than a year old. There's still much to be done, but you can't fault what Bungie have done so far.

Edited by FIRE WRAITH 01: 4/9/2015 12:31:10 PM
Its the very first MMO FPS on console
Thank you. Thank you for having the balls to say it in this toxic community. But Xerazal is (sort of) right. Its not the first of its kind. but it is an MMO.
-
Thank you. Correct on all accounts. Also FMA rules.
-
RnG might be its bread and butter but people hate it, a lot of people not a small minority
-
Its the very first MMO FPS on console
wrong , there was DUST 514

Well said.
