So I made a poll because I'm curious on what people really think about this gun My opinion is listed below, I warn you. ITS 'MY' OPINION. So don't take it to heart. Enjoy What's everyone's obsession with getting this exotic? It was my first exotic, and I enjoyed it, but I don't hold it in the highest regard, but people act like its needed for everything. Example, in the raid everyone wants people with the gjallarhorn. They want the whole team having them and only using them to take down crota on both hard, and easy. The fact is that its overkill. Why not use a normal rocket for him? If all 5 people hit crota with the hunger of crota then you will get him down just as easily as with 5 gjallarhorns. From personal experience, it is nice having them if you're low on players, but again. With a competent team, it is overkill and unnecessary. Actually its almost necessary for a lot of things. In crucible, people use the gjallarhorn a lot. Why, the truth of thunderlord are much better options for crucible. The wolfpack rounds almost never kill anyone. Plus It takes up that precious exotic slot that could be use for a Plan C, a Universal, or any other exotic. (excluding the NLB and Necrochasm) I honestly think that the gjallarhorn is nothing more then another overly praised exotic. People who don't have act like its the bee knees. Everyday on the forum I always see "MAN WISH XUR WITH SELL THE GJALLARHORN", "WISH GOD LOVED ME ENOUGH TO GIVE ME THAT DANG OL' DARN OL' GJALLARHORN FOR ONCE, LIKE SSHHHEESSH". From personal experience from having every exotic weapon that's on xbox, the gjallarhorn isn't much to behold. Its a beloved exotic, with a lot of blind praise behind its barrel. Still good, just not as good as some may see it as. All and all these are just my opinions, but if someone wants to 'enlighten' me on why this DPS dealing monster is an exotic to behold then please, go right ahead.
