I think it's only fair that guardians should be able to save up engrams to open up after the DLC starts. This previous DLC, if you had engrams saved, when you opened them they would award you items not from the DLC or didn't have the newest max damage or defense. If we take the time to save up to get the newest and best gear after the DLC drops, we should be able to get the newest gear and not be awarded 331 damage guns, and 33 light armor.
