I had a question about the banning part. What happens, lets say, if you lag out or your xbox suddenly turns off. Do these situations apply to getting banned?

Freakin amazing back in the day. It's the FPS that invented mouse-look, which every pc shooter uses now. And to say that all of their games have just been decent? A lot of "decent" is opinion, but if you look at anything about them that can be taken as fact and quantified, from compiled review scores at just about any source being amazing, to numerous game of the year awards, to the amount of polish and amazingly huge list of options and feature sets contained in thier games; they blow 99% of other games out of the water. Something like Call of Duty 4 gets a lot of recognition and is nice, but if I want to play Halo like COD, I can set up a Swat game and it will play very similar. But if I want something completely different with crazy vehicle battles, I can do that too. Halo 3 is one of the most amazingly versitile games in the world that can be set up to play like almost any kind of FPS the user wants and so many people can't get over some stupid little thing like the BR doesn't work how they think it should or some other such minute triviality. Think about it why does your computer always have to update a new virus protection program, because someone is always creating a new virus. The same will continue to go on in video games as well. Why not worry more about the hackers & real cheaters who make the game act the way they want it to. Keep on keeping on & eventually you will get it right. Halo 3 had more sales on launch than Halo 2 and still seems to be selling fine. It is constitently in the top 2 most played games on Xbox Live and has blown away the sales on ANYTHING EPIC has done in the last several years, if not ever. If Bungie's next game is good I may like that equally as much as Halo. It's not like I'm picking a religious belief system that will only allow for one or the other. They are games that are used for FUN. From the track record of say ALL OF THIER GAMES SO FAR, I think it's safe to say the next one will at least be pretty decent.

I don't get it, why are people saying good update? It's full of Negativity & a golf game that no one knew anything about. I understand this is bungie.net & not halo.net, but the majority of people read these updates to hear whats going on with Halo 3. You can say no thats not true but really guys what other games has bungie made that are this much a hit or that are current. Halo CE outdated, Halo 2 almost outdated, Myth most people don't even remember what that games was about because bungie won't make another one. Halo 3 is the only reason why this website is as popular as it is. Once Halo 3 is outdated & Microsoft decides that they are going to make another Halo game what else can bungie offer us. Remember that Microsoft owns the right to Halo & they don't have to let Bungie make the next one. ThunderBunny4, if you hate Bungie so much, just leave. I agree with you that Bungie's games have gotten worse over time though. Halo 3's still a better than average game in my opinion.

This is a solid update. Certainly as solid as my bowel movement this morning :-O Not nearly as solid is the TU2 release date slip, but oh wells. Solid moreso is the retroactive banhammer....nice. The environment montage was great....I believe that was alfalfa I saw 23 secs into the video. That is beyond awesomez.
