The "gamer girl" term is pathetic
I am sorry but to classify yourself as a girl gamer only to draw attention to yourself erks me and offends me. You are a girl that games so henceforth you are a GAMER. Fyi this conversation started in a party chat. Don't like it then move along lol.

I'm a girl and I play a lot of Xbox and Nintendo... No I'm not a dude but when I'm on call with people in a raid team I never tell them I'm a girl I usually find it better if the think I'm a 9 year old boy (squeaker voice XP) some do realise I'm a girl but no fuss is made

2 RepliesI don't like any of these terms really. Yes, I enjoy videogames, but, that doesn't mean that I am a 'gamer'. I read books, does that mean that I should go around labelling myself as a 'reader'? Gaming is merely a hobby for me. It isn't my identity.
