Why not make it to where we can change weapons and subclasses with the D pad? Use the up button for changing primaries, left for specials, right for heavies, and down for subclasses. that way we don't have to waste time with the gear menu. Press whatever direction button until the weapon you want is equipped. Make it optional so people don't miss out on dancing. Anybody else think this is a decent idea? Edit1: it could be made to where holding a direction for half a second would still let you dance and point. But just tapping a direction changes weapons and such. Edit2: a lot of people are suggesting hot keys. Which might be an even better idea. Hot keys for certain weapon loadouts or even heavy ammo synths. Edit3: Another suggestion is making the D pad mappable. that way you could select which function you want each button to have. That way you can still dance if you want to. Edit4: if you're overly sensitive about things that are "racist towards white people" then don't read edit5. I am white by the way. Edit5: it seems like a lot of teenage white kidd don't want their dancing disrupted. they think listening to Justin Timberlake and stealing their guardians dance moves will cure their two left feet. Edit6: Another great idea has been mentioned a few times. holding a direction on the D pad makes a " weapon wheel pop up. Then you would use the right joy stick to select the weapon or synth that you want to use. either have one button pop up all the weapons with each gun type in a certain spot on the wheel. or have each button pop up a different wheel for primaries/ specials etc. 200 replies and trending. nice! 400 replies, not too shabby.
