Halo 5: Guardians has been confirmed for the 27 of October via two live action trailers — one of the trailers features Locke prevailing over the Chief, and one features the Chief (rightfully) prevailing over Locke. Needless to say, the trailers are fucking epic, but beyond that, it seems as if though the Halo story is going to become much bigger than what it already is, and instead of following a linear path, it seems that there will be much more depth and decision making in Halo 5.
I wonder if you will even come to the point in-game found within the trailer. And if you do, will it be the resulting conclusion to how you chose to play the game, a scene in which you must play three times in order to unveil the correct conclusion, or something completely different.
I haven't been this excited for a game in a while, so please, 343, make this a good one.

Meh. I'm sorry, but after disliking Halo 4 and the disaster that was the MCC, I can't be excited about this. They are STILL patching MCC 6 months later. They already delayed the Spartan Assault sequel so they could work on patching MCC more. I can't help but worry about how much development time Halo 5 lost because 343 having to work on patches. Halo 5 was supposed to come out in 2015 for a LONG time now, and there was no way they were going to delay it. I hope Halo 5 doesn't become the Halo 2 of the new trilogy. (in that it had to be rushed to release because of Microsoft and had a crap ton of content cut out of the game. I remember being so excited after seeing the Halo 2 city demo at E3, but then being SOOOO disappointed when that level never made it into the final game.)
