Like many destiny players, I find myself accumulating more and more crucible commendations from ranking up my faction, however I do not play crucible so I don't really have any use for them. My idea would be similar to the Iron Banner reforge function, you can use 1 commendation plus a small amount of glimmer, to reforge your faction/crucible/vanguard gear to either rank up old armour (previously capt at 27 light to the new updated 33 cap) and to randomly change the perks that armour/weapons have. [i]For example; I have a future war cult hand cannon that has a damage cap of 300, this function would allow me to go to the future war cult vender, select my hand cannon, reforge for 1 commendation plus 1000 glimmer, to receive a new FWC hand cannon with a damage cap of 331 with 2 new random perks (obviously all weapon progress would be reset)[/i] What do you guys think to this idea, I know most people prefer raid gear but this would make faction armour and weapons a bit more versatile and worthwhile.
