It was pointless, only thing needed was a pulse rifle buff. Game balance is thrown off completely by breaking all the fun guns because you want to cater to noobs, pvp not as fun as it use to be,lost most friend to other games... (---___---) sigh*
-
Keep it as it is
-
How about nerfing all weapons and combat to zero and use our communication skills to talk Crota into just getting along
-
jeez it's not that bad honestly, i mean if small changes upset your whole playstyle go play something else lol
-
Keep the poll going.
-
Hopefully bungee does something, I'm confused on why this game went south so quickly.
-
it's only gonna get worse, the weapon balancing is never gonna stop. Just go to a different game, Deestiny is getting tired anyway!
-
Idk how bad you are with other guns, but auto rifles are still a good weapon choice. I don't see what your problem is. The game seems perfectly valences as it is. Maybe your still just mad that your favorite gun doesn't rek people like it used to.
-
All they should have done is buffed pulse and nerf HC range. I'm still pissed the superficially handicapped the hand cannon accuracy to prevent me from getting earned called shots consecutively.
-
The game wasn't ruined. But Bungie did go too far in nerfing the ARs. The range nerf plus a damage nerf that rose to the level of 15% for some weapons...has made the best ARs underpowered, and the ones that were previously marginal...unplayable. Especially in PvP.
-
i agree the game was ruined all that was needed a very slight range nerf on hight impact autos and exotic hand cannon touch ups, pulse rifles are where they should have been all along, all im seeing in pvp are handcannons, pulse rifles, and the over used shotgunns which im not even getting into right now
-
Speaking of nerfing, bungie should nerf all the VoG guns for HoW stats... I miss my confluence and fatebringer :(
-
Give back the damage to ARs, less effective at range, pulse rifles should have similar range, but reward precision damage more. And they should do damage along impact lines comparable to each other. Hand Cannons shouldn't be able to out range a scout rifle, but they certainly should hit hard. Reduce aim assist, and effective range to be longer than ARs and PRs, only because people would crap bricks if they had less range than a rifle. Shotguns are a tough one. Perhaps reduce the spread nerf of fusion rifles, so they can be effective at medium range, and keep shotguns the same as they are a high risk weapon. This would give a good counter to them.

Edited by DeZevil: 4/2/2015 9:36:17 AMThe only problem I see with the tuning is that hand cannons are still able to snipe enemies for great damage (and thus rendering scouts redundant) and Thorn still had Mark of the Devourer active. I don't see many Red Deaths actually and those who use it are generally of less concern than hand cannon users. And autos, well, contrary to popular belief, while damage was lessened and by more than 2.5%, a lot of them retain their hits-to-kill profile in PvP in several scenarios and thus they kill as fast as previously in those scenarios. The perfect example is Hard Light, which dropped from 22 to 20 headshot damage (a whoppin 8-9% decrease o.O), but since Guardians has about 200 health, both the pre-patch and post-patch Hard Light is a ten-hit kill within the max damage range and thus kills just as fast as before. The post-patch rifle starts to lose damage a wee bit sooner however. The worst cases need one more hit to kill in some scenarios, Suros for example, but since Suros could previously squeeze out two more shots before other weapons (non-hand cannons) could deal fatal damage as well, I don't see that as a problem. I can agree that the PvE damage decrease was a bit uncalled for, but despite everyone disagreeing with my opinion on the PvP autos, I still find them very usable in PvP. And if a player like me can pull off high scores with autos there, anyone can!

What i never understand is. The both boss weapons are garbage...so why we killing bosses?!?!

Edited by EA-_-SE: 4/2/2015 2:10:51 AMOh and what happen to the vex? Will it be fixed? Nerf didn't seem like an accident. Black hammer never was fixed, waiting for that to. FullAuto fire perks still dont work properly.
-
Kind of need more options in your poll. If I could choose Id say just undue the auto rifle nerfs and adjust them too have less range in Pvp in pve they were fine.
-
They sure screwed up autorifles.
-
The only thing that went wrong is the auto riffle nerf was not 2.5%
-
Actually pulse rifles were good back then it takes the same amount of shots to kill before and after. However pulse rifles need to deal around halve the damage they deal right now.
-
Game has been messed up ever since cry baby Pvp players called for nerfs.
-
Edited by EA-_-SE: 4/1/2015 2:49:19 PMSo many forums about nerfing and everyone that's asking for nerfs just so happen to be COMPLETE NOOBS. Fools posting against this poll, probably can barely get through a raid (spending 6 hours opening 1st gate on VoG) or nightfall (cant solo and needs to hide while others finish) if they want to talk pve, s**t probably struggle with regular story missions(non heroic). More than likely can't contribute to a team in the crucible(negative kd win or loss). If you know you are a scrub, why even comment?

they -blam!-ed up my Hard Light. The best gun and the only one I really wanted. Now it's hilariously underpowered. It makes this massive booming sound when fired and hits like a gentle brush of a summer flower. And of course because of the instability no matter how much you reduce the range and impact, being so damn hard to even hit the target with the projectiles, this gun now has no reward for actually landing the shots. So now I have a useless bucking horse whenever I pull the trigger. It can't hit shit and when it does it's a joke. AND it's impact powered. Not even arc. Thanks for giving elemental damage to legendaries that're supposed to be weaker and not this weapon that is now, sadly, dismantled to benefit a better weapon. A pulse rifle as a matter of fact hahah.
-
Yeah, my abyss defiant and hard light do not compare with my vex mythoclast whatsoever in PVP, the game is extremely unbalanced and what's ironic is that I felt certain auto rifles needing a buff before they got nerfed to sh*t. But really my auto rifles are about as lethal as a litter of kittens.. Bungie you f*cked up, f*cking fix it!
-
I can't explain it but something with the HC nerf has led me to abandon them, the initial accuracy coupled with the range I just didn't like the way they felt anymore.

This game is in this shape because of pvp #caseclosed
