Any Bethesda game I've played I have really enjoyed. And if destiny keeps making tweaks to the game they will always have people playing. What do you think of a game Bethesda and Bungie made? Comments, dreams, criticism? Fire away

Edited by Level 2 on Easy: 3/31/2015 8:26:42 AMLet Bethesda be in charge of lore, world details, audio (other than soundtrack) and some graphics Let bungie be in charge of game mechanics, player models, gun play, most graphics, and controls. They'd make a good team, but Bethesda leaves a sour taste in my mouth from choppy controls and TONS of bugs and glitches.

No. I never want bethesda to be tainted with bungies shit. Not after destinys lack of content lol
-
Thralls and wasteland ghouls? Sounds good to me. Maybe then I'll get the laser chain gun I've been wishing for
-
Bethesda pros: large worlds, gore, humour. Bethesda cons: bugs, bugs, repetitive storylines, terrible AI, bugs. Bungie pros: amazing artwork, great gameplay Cons: Too many teasers, hands tied by activision, too many fanboys, weighed down by success of halo. Could work, as long as bethesda made the environments but stayed away from just about everything else.
-
Old bungie with Bethesda would be the greatest RPG of all time like skyrim in steroids
-
Yep so i can get a 100% broken game on day one Bethesda is the best and worst company
-
It will never happen. Bethesda is a way better developer than Bungie, no offense. The Halo Series (1-3) was great, what happened Bungie? P.S. I love Destiny, but it doesn't live up to it's expectations #SadButTrue
-
The games they have made are pretty different. The closest I've seen was Wolfenstein. Which was a pretty fun game. But the AI in it sucked. Like severely. Worse than the AI in the first halo. And that game came out 13 years prior. However, the AI in destiny is by far hands down the best I've seen.

Edited by Loot Cave Rave: 3/29/2015 11:44:51 PMBethesda wouldn't risk it. Their games are epic and working with Bungie would change that.
-
Modders made Bethesda's Game 10 times better than they suppose to be. Just Let Destiny have Mod support the Game will better.
-
I'll put up with anything Bethesda make.
-
Bethesda of the buggy fallout series? Err not until they can write games which don't crash.
-
Perhaps the "old" Bungie (the Halo reach and below Bungie). Now Bungie is just a corporate sellout to Activision. They would just taint Bethesda.
-
I think that's pretty stupid. Although Bethesda leaves bugs and glitches in their games, they create amazing and enormous worlds that are full of content and lore. They create a great story with true rpg elements and many choices over how your character grows. Elder scrolls and fallout games can give 100s of hours of unique content. Bungie does none of those things. Despite having a very solid engine and mechanics, their content and rpg elements are very shallow. Lore is found on digital cards found in a separate app. Time in the game is spent grinding the same 10-15 hours of content over and over and over.
-
How bad that combination would be? Yes I could imagine that.
-
Why anyone would want that is beyond me. Bethesda has the worst sense of quality control ever. Even ubisoft is better. Every damn game they release is riddle with bugs, glitches, and sometimes even frame rate issues.
-
I think my brain just had an orgasm. Team bung-thesda for the win!
-
I'd rather Bethesda give someone else their games to make. I want a fallout game that doesn't have weird glitches every 5 minutes.
-
If Bethesda was the publishers versus Activision it would be pretty good.
-
Yes I can see it now a game with thousands of more animation glitches then ever before in any other game save skyrim...

Edited by madJESTERxx: 3/29/2015 8:33:41 PMHELL NO. Bungie would nerf every staff, sword and gun in those games ( my precious Fat Man, noooo). I like Bethesda's games as they are (bugs and all), Bungie can stay away from them.
-
Im a massive fan of bethesda games but i can admit they ideas are tough to put to there kits they use buti think if bungie done the engine and the programming it would have been better than activision. Bungie for Mechanics and Progs, Beth for Concepts, story and character creation. Bungie could have thrown in for the concepts as well since they are good at scifi and there aliens they come up with.
-
It would be super buggy and Playstation would have the worst of all the problems but there would be a lot to do that's for certain.
-
Edited by TheWilsonPGH: 3/29/2015 6:23:52 PMIf people think this game is buggy now, imagine if Bethesda got ahold of it... That being said, also imagine the intricate and indepth side stories we would have. Leveling up factions would require you to "help" NPC's with their short missions and quests, and they would be numerous and extensive. "Named" weapons only available through these side quest lines, standard weapons only at vendors. 40 hours main story, hundreds of hours side stories. It would be awesome. The game probably wouldn't be released for another 10 years due to "polishing". Edit: I can't spell for shit.

Bungie has game play mechanics, that's about it.
-
If that were to happen, then I would still be playing right now instead of spending my time on these gay ass forums.
