I am seriously enjoying the Crucibles, Sure I suck at it but that is not much of an issue to me, after all I am smiling most the time.
The only time I am not really smiling is when the the announcement: Heavy Ammo on its way! Is being called out.
Everyone rushes over to the drop just to get their hands on it. Second it is a place to be ambushed as every 5 minutes approx the drop is made. Heavy ammo has the game sometime hold for a 30 seconds during the wait.
To just shoot a rocket is in my opinion to easy.
Now I had a simple thought, why not have just one ammo bin being dropped at a random place.
Now being an old school player (Think 15 years back to UT) as well I do miss the games with just a single weapon. Now games like these will proof your worth with the game play as it is drastically being altered. Whether one receives a fusion rifle or a scout rifle will dictate who is the best.
So a game with random weapon drop for an entire game. No snipers, or heavy weapons. Random get pushed a shotgun, auto rifle, scout rifle, pulse rifle or fusion rifle. After all we all do have our favourite weapon so how would one fare when everyone has the same? Would tactics and team play not become more important. And should supers be allowed?
Just some ideas I though up during the fun games. Hope to see you there so I can test my worth.
