What do you want in destiny 2?

Now, I do want a better storyline for Destiny 2. That does not necessarily mean the storyline in Destiny was worthless. However, it is the first act. The characters have been introduced, the stage has been set. It is time for the REAL drama to unfold.

I feel like Bungie is aware of most of the mistakes they've made and they will hopefully fix the lacking issues by destiny 2. This leaves room for sparrow races to be added. They're just so fun to drive.

1 ReplyNone of the above. All I want from Destiny 2 is... [b][u]FORGE MODE[/u][/b] Self-explanatory [b][u]EXPLOSIONS[/u][/b] I don't care how, or where, or when. I just want as many beautiful explosions as possible. [b][u]DESTRUCTIBLE ENVIRONMENTS[/u][/b] Again, self-explanatory. Just have these in personal areas as to not ruin other players quests, missions and/or bounties.

i'd rather they did something with the current game because based on all the issues we already have and the lack of feedback from bungie its not really on my list of games to get.

Everything you just mentioned. Also, I want different tweaks of audio for different guns. Imagine the icebreaker having an updated audio sound that sounded more like a cracking echo instead of a cracking whip sound. Just HD minor tweaks in audio can make a game seem so much better.

I don't mind the story as it is. Maybe slightly expand upon it with more detailed grimoire cards that can be viewed in game. This game doesn't spoon feed you the story and I don't mind it. Besides, imagine you are playing a raid for the hundredth time and every stage there is a cutscene with dialogue and characters and even some badass theatrics to go along with it. What do you think the biggest complaint would be? "Why are we forced to watch these scenes? I have played this game enough, I don't need to see it another time" and "why can't we skip the cut scenes? They are annoying and make the strikes/missions/raids unnecessarily longer and annoying. Please Bungie, remove them." You might think at first what I say is strange. The story should be a huge space opera that we enjoy like a movie! However, think about it for a minute, why do you continue to play? Is it for the story? The characters? I will tell you right now that I do not and think that a story would only slow things down, especially after having played that strike/mission/raid for the thousandth time. It is all about the endgame content, completing raids, nightfalls and strikes in search of better loot. Could the game benefit from an expanded backstory? Yes, I would like to know more about these interesting aliens and why I am killing them. I just don't want to be forced to see why everytime i enter the strike/mission/raid with intricate cutscenes. Now, I feel the grimoire system works well enough. If I want to know more about these aliens, weapons, worlds, etc. I can look it up at my leisure. My only complaint is that they are just a tad too vague. My suggestion as far as story goes is to expand these grimoire cards. With each tier you gain in that particular card, more is revealed about it in the form or stories, straight up facts and information and cutscenes you can watch at your leisure all accessed in game.

I kind of disappointed on how questioning about "better storytelling" for pvp (faction wars?, Tower politics?) and pve (I could tell...) have been deluded over time (drowned in, buff, nerf, raid, grinding and bug fix requests). Destiny still can be one of the greatest games of all time. Let's see how it turns out.
