Even if everyone in the fireteam does everything perfect, if the swordbearer knight decides to glitch, or hide, or just plain not show up, it's a wipe. It's not the players fault, it's Bungie's fault for making such a horrible raid design.

If I am running the sword, I will stand on the box below where the chalice would be, and fire a couple of rockets at him, as soon as he appears.

Ok yeah the sword barer is glitchy but you have to just work with it caz there is no other option until a fix comes around, yeah it can at times be annoying but it makes it even better when he buggers of somewhere and you still beat the raid

If you've read the weekly updates Bungie is working on fixing theses raid glitches. The Knight will try and evade you're team unless he's angered and that's not a glitch other than that the amount of glitches is too much. I know the struggle man.

Wow, you are slow. The swordbreaker is programmed correctly. He only has a melee weapon. Therefore he will only approach to attack if foes are near him on the ground. It doesn't make sense for the swordbreaker to run into a wall chasing players camped up high with snipers, noob.

Nope it's fine. Never ever had a problem with it. Only problem I have is ogres don't show up till crota enrages. I mean what the fück can we do when ogres don't spawn?

I'll give you a tip, if your talking about CE HM, when the SB comes out don't shoot anything don't aim at him and will either stay behind the front left/right rock

Remember the left strat man, the game isn't designed for you to hide in a corner. They meant for your team to actually be running around. Like VoG, except they added an area where adds don't spawn so we abused that. All of the ai is programmed to hide when damaged, it's not the games fault if the sword bearer doesn't be in the open

I would have to disagree. Couple things. First it's suppose to do that. Not glitch or hide. It's suppose to run around like a maniac. It adds life to him. If he just sat there doing nothing what's the point of him having legs? Second the sword is suppose to be taken down pretty quickly. I'm gonna offer you a way of doing, you may not like it. [spoiler]as soon as the sword comes out, 2 rockets toward him and others snipe him.[/spoiler] that's how my team does it. And I'm not expecting you to like our idea. But that's how we do it. Third it challenges the players to take him down quickly so Crota doesn't rotate before he is down. Crota has about a minute on each rotation. So be careful on that.

When your all in the middle waiting for crota to role,jump against the glass and keep firing..make sure everyone is in the middle and this should draw the sword guy to you..glitches well that's destiny,I think we got to the point 1 out 5 is a glitch free run lol

Ya that does suck, i believe this happens when he gets ADS'ed primarily. Like when people aim at him with snipers, its like the AI knows its being targeted so it hides since it cant attack, usually end up having to have someone go down there and run around like a chicken with its head cutoff until he comes out from hiding. Also dont aim at him while he is coming out of the door, he will abruptly stop right before exiting, the problem is he cant take damage till he crosses the doors threshold so then he gets stuck down there till some one runs right up to his face smh.
