Got my first exotic (happened to be a gally) from a purple engram the 2 weeks ago. Got another one today off of the first chest in atheon. First time I've ever even gone into the atheon level lol. Was with a buddy who's a day one with 500ish hours and he still doesn't have the gally, he was highly upset as one may imagine

Last week I got two purple engrams while running ROC strikes. One turned into The Glasshouse and the other turned into Saint 14. I was really surprised and pleased, because all I've ever gotten from them before were shards or energies.

Last week on the Nightfall I got a purple while in the first room (Omnigul strike). I got a 4th horseman at the end ( the last exotic I needed) and the purple engram turned into a Gjallarhorn.
