Halo: Online announced.

An official Halo PC exclusive game has been announced. It runs on a heavily modified Halo 3 engine, and will be a free-to-play with micro-transactions for armor customization and (I think) experience boosts. It will feature returning fan-favorite content, as well as new content. With game modes supporting 4-16 player matches. Here's the catch. As of right now, the beta releasing this Spring is only available in Russia. Bringing the game to other regions will be considered at a later date by Microsoft. Edit: I played the game myself. Very graphically impressive with lots of truly amazing features. It feels exactly the same as Halo 3 (albeit with loadouts and Sprint), and this game with plenty updates just glows with potential. Right now? It's absolutely amazing, even offline. Although it has a lot of things that the nostalgia hungry fans won't like at all. Edit 2: I've uploaded videos to YouTube of various game aspects. The videos are all in 1080p60, and so far have no commentary. I probably won't add any commentary unless it's requested, but yeah. I'll leave a link here so you can check out an early offline build of the game. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CQX8VobneOM
