What are yalls beliefs regarding religion?
I know there are gonna be those people out there that see this and want to comment something stupid, but could you please not comment something if you're gonna be stupid about it? Honestly I'm just trying to see where people line up with their beliefs. If you are not a believer in anything listed above please list what your beliefs are. I am a Christian and just interested in people's beliefs.

3 RepliesI see a consistent trend in most of the commentary here. I wonder why no one calls Muslims stupid. A lot of posts here state that Christians are but what about Jews? What about Muslims? What about Buddhists? Yet that majority of the answered on this pole are Christians. Does that mean a majority of those that answered are stupid and all others are not? I find that very hard to believe. I am a Christian. I am also of Jewish lineage. I know I'm not stupid. In fact no one is. To those that call us Christians stupid, I wonder where you get your facts on the fallacy of atheism. I bet you don't call Muslims stupid simply because you don't want to get your head cut off. Well.....?

What is always funny to see is how people (in any age) are so convinced that their finite comprehension is complete and no further wisdom is needed. I'm glad some people like Galileo, Kepler, Newton and Einstein were wise enough to entertain open-mindedness unlike the society that existed then and still does today.

1 ReplyI was raised Catholic and while I believe in a power that's greater than us in the universe I don't think it's some petulant invisible man in the sky playing in a sand box. I feel the rules set forth in the bible are archaic and misogynistic at best. I believe in the power of humanism. Do what's right because it's what's good to do for fellow man. Not because you think you'll be rewarded in the hereafter. Believe whatever you want. Just keep it out of the class and courtrooms.

[spoiler]I also think it's kind of funny that you can believe that someone made the phone your on, someone made the building your in, someone made the car you drive, the clothes you wear and the food you eat but suddenly, when It comes to something making us, it's impossible.[/spoiler] Just my thoughts don't kill me...
