The Iron Sands [NEW RAID]

-THIS IS A 5 PART RAID- [b][i][u]RAID PLAYLIST[/u][/i][/b] https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/110766177/0/0 [b][i][u]MISSION[/u][/i][/b]: Disrupt the Cabal intelligence on Mars by destroying a highly advanced Cabal AI, one that has been locked up for ages, but still dictating Cabal chain of command... [b][i][u]TITLE[/u][/i][/b]: The Iron Sands (Mars' surface has a high iron concentrate) [b][i][u]CABAL ENEMIES[/u][/i][/b]: Legionaries, Phalanxes, Psions, Colossi, and Centurions. [b][i][u]OTHER ENTITIES[/u][/i][/b]: Cabal Gunship, Cabal Land Tank, Cabal Dropship, Verma Tal [b][i][u]RAID PT. I[/u][/i][/b]: 6 guardians land in an abandoned city. A Ghost promt and a Cabal Gunship chase them through open streets on their sparrows. The Gunship leaves, and the guardians continue their journey until they get to an old research facility. They make their way into the first floor, and have to survive wave after wave of Cabal attacks while the Ghost opens a sealed door. [b][u][i]RAID PT. II[/i][/u][/b]: After surviving the onslaught, the guardians make their way up the tower, fighting enemies along the way. When they reach the top floor, they see a Rail Cannon. One guardian hops in, and the other 5 have to work together to maintain 5 charging stations around the room while the 6th guardian has to shoot down any Gunship that comes near the other 5. The 5 guardians will be faced with wave after wave of Cabal infantry, having to correlate a defense plan. After 3 Gunships go down, the players will be prompted to destroy the Rail Cannon with grenades, heavy weapons, etc. before jumping off the tower to avoid being obliterated by the Rail Cannon Explosion. [b][i][u]RAID PT. III[/u][/i][/b]: When you all land, you'll be on a different side of the tower than the side you went up. Moving through a series of Vex ruins, (as there are some on Mars) you'll have to fight higher level Psions. After moving through, the guardians will come across a player-drivable Land Tank. 6 players can fit on one tank: 1 for driving, 1 for gunner, 1 for secondary gunner, and the other 3 hang off the side holding their own weapons. (Halo 3 much?) They'll drive through canyons shooting down more Gunships until they reach a Cabal Prison. [b][i][u]RAID PT. IV[/u][/i][/b]: Upon entering, the space is MASSIVE. Bigger than any other Raid boss space. In the center sits a BIG machine that contains what appears to be a form of Cabal AI named Verma Tal. After shooting it, 3 doors on each side open up, and Psions rush in. The AI activates, and sets up a distorted reality for all players. (Kind of like Tron) Each player is locked inside his own altered reality and is tasked with destroying a reality core inside each simulation. Once done, the guardians altered reality will shatter, and they will be returned to fighting the Psions and the AI. The AI will spawn 5 shields to block incoming gunfire from 5 guardians. When the 6th guardian exits their illusion, they will be tasked with dealing the main damage to the AI, once done, the AI will shutter and finally shut off, turning off power in the facility, and activating red flashing lights to usher the 6 back outside. [b][i][u]RAID PT. V[/u][/i][/b]: As they exit the prison, the building explodes. Anyone still left inside combing for loot experiences permadeath until the Raid is over. Anyone still alive has to hop on their sparrows and zoom back to a rallying point. If any guardian dies, they experience permadeath and cannot be revived. (unless they self rez) When the guardians get to the rallying point, the mission ends, and the guardians are a safe enough distance away from the Cabal army. [b][i][u]RAID ARMOR[/u][/i][/b]: -Phalanx themed armor for Titans, (shield included xD) -Psion themed armor for Hunters -AI themed armor for Warlocks. [b][i][u]RAID WEAPONS[/u][/i][/b]: -Distortion 0-99: Legendary Hand Cannon (Solar) -Tank Mounter: Legendary Machine Gun (Solar) -Realities Past: Legendary Auto Rifle (Arc) -Sojurners Truth: Legendary Scout Rifle (Void) -Defeat of Verma: Exotic Auto Rifle (Void) -Sandy Crack: Exotic Sniper Rifle (Arc) -Shut Up And Get Behind Me: Legendary Shotgun (Arc) -Can Cannon: Exotic Rocket Launcher (Arc) -Centrifuge Didact: Legendary Pulse Rifle (Void) [b][i][u]FULL LIST OF WEAPONS/UPGRADES[/u][/i][/b] https://www.bungie.net/es/Forum/Post/110731393/0/0 [b][i][u]RAID SHADERS[/u][/i][/b]: -Red Iron: A dark red with a black accent -Blitzkrieg: An electric blue with faded gray accents -Land War: A light brown with golden accents -Superintendent: White with orange accents [b][i][u]RAID SPARROW[/u][/i][/b] -Verma's Illusion: A silver sparrow with a dark blue trail, can teleport left and right instead of strafe [b][i][u]RAID SHIPS[/u][/i][/b] -Howling Dark: A solid black ship, glowing white accents -Heavyloader: A Cabal Gunship -Reality Tread: An electric blue ship, with a small lightning effect [b][i][u]CHEST LOCATIONS[/u][/i][/b] -One will be in an alleyway down the street you race at the beginning of the strike (warning, Gunship) -One will be in an office area in the laboratory -One will be on a ledge as you jump off the Rail Cannon platform -One will be in the canyon you travel through on the tank -One will spawn in the back of the room after killing the boss. (Get the gear and leave quick, remember the permadeath) [b][i][u]GHOST SHELLS[/u][/i][/b] -Reality Shell: Shimmers white, dark grey color, red eye -Passive Shell: Electric blue, neon blue glow, white eye -Iron Shell: Silver, a bit rusted, black eye -Condescending Shell: Dark green, silver lines, yellow eye [spoiler]When the final fight transpires, each guardian out of their distorted reality will wipe up any Cabal forces in the area, making it much safer for anyone else still stuck in the 'hypnosis'. Once the last person exits the distorted reality, all 6 focus fire onto the AI, because it's shields will only protect it from 5. This is a rinse and repeat process, and must me done at least 3 times for the boss to be defeated. Each time the players exit the distorted reality, they will have many more enemies than before to defeat, making teamwork crucial...[/spoiler] [b][i][u]CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM IS APPRECIATED.
