Gjallarhornless support group
Guys I am really struggling with not having a gally so I am starting this thread as a support group for myself and all the other guardians who have yet to be blessed by RNGeezus. First I believe we should open with a prayer:
RNGeezus grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
Courage to change the things I can,
And a Gjallarhorn to crush everyone else.
Also we probably need a 12-step program for people to work. Here are my suggestions:
1. We admitted we were powerless compared to guardians who have a Gjallarhorn.
2. Came to believe that RNGeezus has not forsaken us.
3. Made a decision to grind away at destiny every waking moment until our Gjallarhorn finally drops.
4. Made an inventory of all our personal responsibilities and relationships so we can apologize to them for ignoring them until we get a Gjallarhorn.
5. Admitted to RNGeezus, ourselves, and anyone who would listen how bad we wanted a Gjallarhorn.
6. Became entirely ready to delete a level 32 character just so we could do the nightfall, weekly heroic and raids over again.
7. Humbly asked RNGeezus to end our suffering.
8. Made a list of all the people we would gladly kill just to get a Gjallarhorn.
9. Floated that list to various Bungie employees who might need someone quietly "taken care of."
10. Continued to apologize to everyone we are ignoring until we get our Gjallarhorn.
11. Sought through prayer and meditation to convince RNGeezus to give us a Gjallarhorn.
12. Having had an orgasm once our Gjallarhorn dropped, we refrain from trolling guardians who don't yet have one, and point them in the direction of these 12 steps until they get theirs.
So this is all I have so far, let me know what you guys think and post any revisions to the steps that you think would be more beneficial to all us Gjallarhornless guardians.
Someone feel free to tackle the 12 traditions.
Edit: Bungie don't you friggin dare NERF the Gjallarhorn! If you do I will NOT be buying the taken king.

With you on this want gally so much, already got loads of other exotics, even got a patience and time for my 32 warlock from the first legendary engram it got, played that character less then 24 hours and it has better luck then my main man my 33 titan thats had hunderds of hours of play. All hail RNGesus.

2 RepliesI got mine my first PoE on 28 *shrug* I would just do PoE for the first time of that week and open the middle chest. I get exotics mostly. Pray to RNG every day, bro!

I got mine by doing a nightfall strike like 4 months ago . Just keep grinding folks, and when it does drop for you We shall all march into Glorious battle together And take oryx' head

Had to watch my friend, that already has 3 gallys, get another one from the nightfall. thats 4 now, and he bought the game in February. Ive had it since september and still nothing lol this game is a real troll

3 RepliesI have come to tell you the good news of how I found salvation in the form of Gjallarhorn from RNGeezus. Perhaps you too will find sanctuary in it. I played my first ever raid, Vault of Glass a month ago. We got to Atheon, then had people leave. We left as a group to get new people, and when we returned I got stuck in Venus with the blindness. My friends had forsaken me! But in that moment, RNGeezus took pity on me and they slew Atheon while I was still on Venus. Lo and behold, the glory of Gjallarhorn descended upon me! I sang a praise to RNGeezus and the Traveler. And I come to you now so you may be brought to the better life. Who knows, perhaps I can grant your wish with my genie powers. 2 RepliesPraise RNGesus! Last night I FINALLY had the Mythical Gjallarhorn drop for me! According to Smartglass I've played 825hrs, according to the Bungie app it's sitting at 619hrs.... And I thought it was never going to happen. When it popped up, I just assumed someone else had received it (as it had been up until then)... I was looking at the bottom left of the screen at the name/loot text and almost missed the icon pop up on the screen... It took a second to register, then came the joy. Albeit quiet, introspective joy as it was late at night. I've tried lots of different things to try to increase my chances of it dropping... Different Emblems (based on some people's beliefs), shaders, etc etc... But nothing. Then I changed my b.net profile pic and theme yesterday... And, that very night BOOM... Gjallarhorn. Now, it's totally RNG, and I'm not saying what I did caused anything different, but I'm just sharing this as it was something different that I did. Might be totally coincidence, but hey, when you're desperate you'll give anything a go. Now, where did I get it? Deathsinger on normal. That was my first exotic from that CP in about 4-5 weeks. I'm not even going to use it until it's fully upgraded, so the next few nights will be filled with bounties and rocket telemetry. For all of you Guardians still chasing Gjallarhorn... Don't stop grinding, no matter how futile it seems. I felt it was getting ridiculous, but knowing some people have two to three times the hours as me and still don't have it, I just knew I had to keep going. Mind you I actually still enjoy raiding, so it was just a matter of time. Hang in there Guardians, one day it will be yours too!

I play with the expectation of not getting anything so I am never disappointed when playing. I did get gjallarhorn this week in the nightfall. Was not a big deal if a ever got it or not. I will upgrade it and then vault it. Don't see what the hype is with it. So far I am not impressed and I have it halfway upgraded.
